Common sense should prevail and put Leicester through no matter how unfair it is Time is severely against re-staging meetings. We have to move on.

Pirates have been waiting and waiting and waiting, bit like for an ambulance to turn up.........so we should dictate when all the meetings take place. How can Ford promote tomorrow's meeting when we have no official idea as to who it will be???????? No wonder he's peed off!!!! So our crowd could be screwed and we ain't been Farting about??? Who cares about Leicester's crowd, ambulance saga aside, it's tough do da's now coz u gotta fit the meetings in so all this regular race night nonsense is out of the window!!!!!!!! There, now be told!!

As far as I'm aware it only says provisional because Leicester are not through yet and not because they are still considering another night. If Leicester go through the meeting will be held on Saturday. But who knows.......someone at Leicester might get out of the bed on the right side tomorrow

Ermmmmmmmmm..............................Leicester are racing at home tonight on a TUESDAY so how is that VIABLE????? I imagine the crowd will be pretty poor as I know a few who attended on Saturday are not going tonight purely because of what happened. When the weekend was free of other domestic meetings I assumed clubs had been told that they couldn't race or were respecting the SON. Leicester holding a meeting on Saturday is therefore a tad disrespectful to a major international meeting. Doesn't matter about the start times being different imo!!

Agree Steve. Any fans travelling up from Poole or elsewhere could possibly set off on the Friday and take in that meeting as well, then go on to the SON if they are going there as well. Just book extra accommodation for the Friday. Financial do da running on Saturday! I'll be at Poole on Wednesday, finally I'm getting there! yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'll be at Poole on Weds for the 1st leg to cheer on the Pirates, my local track is actually Leicester so with the meeting being on Saturday it's rubbing a lot of salt into the wound. Couple of me mates are Lions fans so there's quite a lot of banter that goes around between us. May the best team win

You may not realise, when you buy ur SON Ticket there is no option other than to pay for both days. So altho Saturday may not be as important it would be s waste of money not to go and attend Leicester. Plus SON accomodation was booked a long time ago so unless u want to waste a shed load of money attending Leicester it is a no go.

It definitely is being run as I've contacted a Leicester official who I personally know. Unless Ford can get it sorted. When Leicester can run any night of the week it's ironic that they decide to run on the least & worst desirable night this week. Thurs or Fri this week? Fri folk traveling up cud go to Leicester then travel up to Manchester the next day! Certainly wud increase the crowd! Right, I'm gonna get the union in on this!

How do u propose to travel to Leicester from Manchester in time if like me being a Poole fan or indeed if ur a Leicester fan? That's the issue. Doesn't matter if the SON finishes before, well it wud av to finish a gud 3 hours before Leicester starts. As i understand the tv schedule ends at 7pm for the SON which is when Leicester starts. I'll av to see if the Tardis is available!

I just hope we have someone or something to race against on Wednesday coz I'm traveling down to the Pirate Ship for the 1st time this season. If it is Leicester not Scunthorpe then the 2nd leg is pencilled in for this Saturday. Do they not realise that there is a certain meeting going on up in Manchester that day? (check Leicester website) Hey well, it's Very annoying when Leicester is ur nearest track but u can't shout the Piirates on coz ur goin to the SON. But then I should've checked me crystal ball when I first booked the SON way back for it's original staging. But as Rick Frost once told me before ur a speedway supporter so should expect such thing's! Well after this season of bizarre happenings I'm beginning to think he was right!

Why oh why are Leicester thinking of running on the same day as the SON if they get into the semi?? Check out their website I'm baffled!

Jeez, ur totally missing the point. The Facenna's are among the best there is for promoting the sport and the track and stadium are also up there. Wrong timing for me despite the top riders being ere. When Glasgow had that other test match it was at the beginning of the season not at the end when the domestic season is gonna struggle to complete itself.

Nothing is predicted, the weather the ambulancgate or anything else that can cancel a meeting!! Thing is the season was already way behind before last night and tonight so the priority is to get the domestic season finished first! Ridiculous post.
