  1. Just seen the picture of the injured Fox, ouch! But got me thinking how such an injury could occur? And did the type of suit he was wearing have an influence?
  2. Track was a lot more "Ipswich like" which is good to see. Witches helped the Panthers by again Worrall and then Tungate touching the tapes in heats 1 and 13. Hawkins and then Heeps fell in points scoring positions. Panthers up against it with starting with 6 riders and then reduced to 5 then 4 then 3! Dryml took a heavy fall in heat 7, locked up and high-sided on 1st/2nd bend 1st lap. seemed to land on shoulder/head. (5 riders) Don't think Blackbird will be too popular in the Panthers camp tonight. Heat 5 he took Fisher off but the American was wrongly excluded.Heat 11 saw them both race each other for 2nd and 3rd, Blackbird only just letting Fisher (on b/w tac) through at the last minute. Heat 15 then saw a tough 1st bend, Heeps (Witches mom) ending up in 1st bend airfence, then Blackbird taking Bjerre into 2nd bend fence . Bjerre landed on top of fence and then fell to the floor. (4 riders) As Bjerre was unable to take his place in 4 rider rerun, it should have been Fisher in but was unable to as had no bike to compete with! So the Panthers unfortunately finished with 3! Heeps got 3 race wins, Risager after poor 1st heat went unbeaten and Manzares i such an intelligent rider. Worrall and Tungate went un-noticed really and the reserves got stuck in. Mention of Baby Bjerre too, showed his liking for Foxhall again and must have loved the extra dirt on the track.
  3. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/ has updates of sorts: Heat 1 Hans Andersen 3 Nicklas Porsing 2 Ulrich Østergaard 1 Jonas B Andersen 0 Heat 2 Nicolai Klindt 3 Niels Kristian Iversen 2 Mikkel Michelsen 1 Jesper Søgaard 0 Heat 3 Bjarne Pedersen 3 Kenni Larsen 2 Leon Madsen 1 Kenneth Kruse Hansen 0 Heat 4 Mads Korneliussen 3 Peter Kildemand 2 Michael Jepsen Jensen 1 Mikkel Bech Jensen 0 Heat 5 Bjarne Pedersen 3 Michael Jepsen Jensen 2 Ulrich Østergaard 1 Nicolai Klindt 0 Heat 6 Niels Kristian Iversen 3 Mads Korneliussen 2 Jonas B Andersen 1 Leon Madsen 0 Heat 7 Peter Kildemand 3 Nicklas Porsing 2 Kenneth K Hansen 1 Jesper Søgaard 0 Heat 8 Kenni Larsen 3 Mikkel Michelsen 2 Hans Andersen 1 Mikkel B Jensen 0 Heat 9 Niels Kristian Iversen 3 Mikkel B Jensen 2 Ulrich Østergaard Kenneth K Hansen R Heat 10 Nicolai Klindt 3 Peter Kildemand 2 Jonas B Andersen 1 Kenni Larsen d Heat 11 Mikkel Michelsen 3 Bjarne Pedersen 2 Mads Korneliussen 1 Nicklas Porsing 0 Heat 12 Michael Jepsen Jensen 3 Hans Andersen 2 Jesper Søgaard 1 Leon Madsen 0
  4. or just " no i'll be in Ipswich tonight" but hey we find out in an hour!
  5. Don't think he has a choice, the Danish fixture has priority......
  6. Whilst coming out of Foxhall, Savalas Clouting (then Ipswich rider) joined a queue of traffic to exit the stadium, Thing is, he waited a while as he has got behind a parked car!
  7. Danish Championships, Risager one of the reserves and down to ride too..... but deafening silence about that one! Especially now as Nicki Pedersen has withdrawn!
  8. If Morten is missing too it will certainly even it up. Might come down to whichever number 1 rides like one the better.....
  9. A heat win for the Witches would be good. 40 points a bonus. Anything more will be like winning the lottery!
  10. Yeah well done Gino! The 3 rounds of the under 21 are: Lonigo (Ita)19/7 (Home Glasgow 17/7) Ostrow (Pol) 17/8 ( Away Rye House 16/8) Pardubice (Cz) 4/10 So may miss a couple of matches but won't be an Ipswich match without a guest or 2 would it!
  11. It's British speedway so why not allow ALL the Brits from riding in both EL and PL if they want to? Special Dispensation for the right reasons and all that! 😎
  12. They not the only ones being sponsored by them though are they? (Andersen, Batchelor, Nicholls) many more in the past. Maybe its that the current promotion don't want any "help" from local sponsors as they think they know best? Maybe its because local sponsors wouldn't get value for money? Or maybe Ipswich speedway haven't enquired?
  13. Let riders move, but if they touch tapes its an exclusion. Or Transponders on the bikes would cure it aswell, Ref would instantly be informed if a flyer was made.
  14. Well exactly they weren't going into the meeting "blind" so should have done a lot better!
  15. 3rd bend just as bad http://instagram.com/p/nqTUwksHpe/ http://instagram.com/p/nqTaFbsHpo/ Of the 1st set the 2nd picture was Good Friday, but not that much difference really. Just think the on monday the outside was watered more so was more use-able, several passes made there but had to keep the run going. Also maybe could have been the Witches riders were prepared for the conditions this time?
  16. Which is which? http://instagram.com/p/np7Q5fsHru/ Or http://instagram.com/p/np7JGFMHrp/
  17. What has cost us more is allowing Ritchie Hawkins to gain an average a fraction over Adam Ellis' so that a NL guest is the only option.
  18. Injury update: Tom Perry broken left collarbone Chris Schramm........walked out of hospital only battered and bruised! WOW
  19. Neither team seemed they wanted to win! 4 points from Worrall is shocking as was refs decesion in heat 15, but hey ho. Think a lot of teams will be wanting to ride on bank holidays at Foxhall in future!
  20. Ipswich looked again like the away team. Newcastle ran out of riders, Ipswich ran out of ideas! Looks like Tom Perry went to hospital with broken collarbone, no news on Schramm apart from had movement in limbs but back pain 2014 aves after today: Risager 7.44 Worrall 7.28 Tungate 6.36 Ellis 5.82 Manzares 5.71 Hawkins 5.02 Heeps 4.00 taken from lovespeedway24 “It’s two points lost as far as I’m concerned,” Witches boss Chris Louis bemoaned afterwards. “I’m sorry but I thought that was a pretty terrible performance. “Fair play to Newcastle. But they came here with a rider down (Rosen) and then lost a reserve (Schramm) before he’d completed a race. “There are no excuses. The track was good. Getting a draw in the last race wasn’t special for me, we should have had it won. And in a more worrying line for the current Witches septet Louis added: “The riders are testing my patience.”
  21. 5 man team? Ref was on Newcastle side and some could say so was Worrall!?
