Not sure if they ever check the car park at the Longsight Asda, which is only a short walk to Belle Vue. It's a free car park but may have time restrictions.. (I suspect they never check, but wouldn't want to be responsible for someone getting a parking ticket). I know the other Asda near the Etihad stadium has a 90 minute parking limit when matches are on at Man. City. Checking on the just park website, you could legally park at Longsight Asda from 9.00am to 11.00pm for £3.50

Since I was talking about the fairest place to host the BRITISH Grand Prix, that would make sense to be the middle of BRITAIN. It wouldn't be very intelligent to leave out Scotland and Wales, and just go for the middle of England. What kind of fool would do that? Secondly I wrote "Manchester is 230 miles from Ipswich. Ipswich to Cardiff is 260 miles."' These distances don't change on a daily basis. They are fixed. Surely anyone with a reasonable intelligence level would understand that. I wasn't commenting on anyone not being able to get tickets on a Saturday because no one made any comment about not being able to get tickets on a Saturday. If someone later wants to dishonestly pretend that they said they couldn't get Saturday tickets, when they actually had said no such thing, then their dishonesty says more about them that anyone else. Let's hope they can learn from their mistakes, and make better posts in future.

Wonder if last night's amazing racing will cause the last few Friday GP tickets to go quite quickly? Obviously the Saturday has been a sell-out for quite a while now, But there's still a few hundred left for Friday (albeit mainly on the temporary stand). With a month left before the GPs, I can't imagine their being any walk-up sales available on the day. Glad I got my Friday and Saturday tickets when they went on sale.

The semi-final picks them. After the 6 qualifiers, Craig Cook was 7th, Jason Edwards was 8th, Vinnie Foord was 9th. Anyone else drops out and it's Nathan Ablitt (10th), Joe Thompson (11th) and Sam Hagon (12th)

Probably about a 15 minute drive or taxi ride down Hyde Road or Stockport Rd towards the city centre and on to Salford. (definitely the best option). The famous 53 bus goes from near the stadium to Salford Quays, but it's not a straight route, and I reckon could take an hour. Best public transport options would be a bus down either Stockport Road or Hyde Road into the City Centre, and then a tram to Salford Quays.

You do understand Doyle and Sayfutdinov scored 8 points in the match and Thompson scored 7, yes? They're the points scored in the match. They're the points that count in the averages. They're the points by which the BSPA press office rank the top scorers in the points list? Bonus points are just for the pay packet. But Ipswich have said that Doyle and Sayfutdinov had excuses for ducking out, and giving the place to the next in line. So I don't see what people are getting their knickers in a twist over. If I were offered some extra work on top of my main job at a lesser payrate I may well turn it down too.
