  1. Great news, hopefully I will be using these to get over for the GP, looking at the possibility of going a league match, my mate who travels to Eastern European countries wants to go to Gdansk soon, if so might pop down Bydgoszcz for the day. If I get job his year, I will definetly being Bydgoszcz some point of the year. Fixtures, November then? Any chance of the play-offs being on the same weekend as Bydgoszcz GP?
  2. Andersen I wouldn't support if he was British, I'm one of the ones who think he did do some naughty at Poole in WTC final. But he would of got a place in the SGP series, Holta got a place in the World Cup by changing to be Polish but earlier in the season he got a Wild Card at Eskilstuna, why? he's Norwegian. A decent rider (i.e. Adam Shields) could change to Italian citizenship and BSI would consider him because of his attractive commerical position.
  3. If Hans Andersen was to take out British citizenship in early September this year, theres a good chance that he would be in the GP series, now replacing Richardson as the 2nd Wild Card Brit. Secondly a major probelm now there is only 16 riders within the GP means that the top 8 effectively becomes the top 10 to qualify for next year's circus. As the wild cards who just missed out are bound to get a spot. The only way to retain the Gp series in its current format is to do 1-6th qualified automatically, 7th-12th into a GP challenge, 13th to 15th Out of the competition. The qualify series would run with 4 quarters, 2 semis, a final with the top 3 riders (get places), grand final challenge with top 4 go in through, that allows 13 riders available, then the next places will be made up of wild cards which can be issued through injury or good international form across all 3 leagues. This way covers all option. The qualifying system can only work however if the cream of the crop take part. Probably best 6 riders from Britain, Poland and Sweden. Top 4 from Denmark, Czech Republic, Australia. Thats 30 riders. Top 3 from United States, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Russia. Thats 42. 22 more riders needed these can be from minority counties. Others idea for the qualifying system is that to be 12-rider invidiual meetings till the grand final. It means a more stronger, more competitive meeting despite the lesser of a meeting. Any feedback?
  4. I've just clicked one, the Fim have not annouced any qualifying rounds or anything.
  5. Ind. Speedway Junior World Championship 13/05 Gorican-CRO (Qualif.1) 14/05 Wolverhampton-GBR (Qualif.2) (tbc) 14/05 Holsted-DEN (Scandinav. Qual.) 11/06 Leszno-POL (Semi-Final 1) 01/07 Pocking-GER (Semi-Final 2) 24/09 Terenzano-ITA (Final)
  6. Oh, just want to know what time I will be going Bydgoszcz. What did they say about the World Cup qualifier where is it being held?, its gonna be hard for Britain to qualify in Poland or Sweden.
  7. I'm for Sheffield and Peterborough myself. Though South Coast would be nice. If Cardiff got the final, I want Newport as the race-off
  8. Latvia, my friend. Its a fanasatic stadium. I thought the other Gp will be either Latvia, Hungary, Russia or Croatia's brand new track. Where you get this info Mateusz?
  9. Team Building Ekstraliga Liga 1 Team Building Liga 2 Team Building
  10. Welcome to another Joker Speedway Governing Body.
  11. Looks Richardson may go up in the standings this year from 14th, he will be better Iversen and Zagar. Richardson will always me a magical rider for me after Bydgoszcz, I was there aswell. Pepe has received some harsh criticism, Pepe will do decent and will not be out of his depth, Kolodziej however might have been. JK next year, your time will come.
  12. Good chance for some Brits to get a Speedway education.
  13. I hate that track they lay at Parken, dry, slick, Olsen building. It must be a great atmosphere (they are extending Parken by the way) but when they lay the track it doesnt agree with me.
  14. Haha, Kolodziej after watching him ride I like him, I also just watched the meeting where Tarnow fielded a junior instead of Rickardsson and the teamwork was brilliant. Also bloody Tarnow is a running track not a speedway track.
  15. If that is the line-up apart from Zagar this year's line-up will be fiercely contested, by the way Tomazpozrl is normally correct on these things and the meeting is this week.
  16. Playing devils advocate? Leicester is a lovely place, only round the corner from Coventry.
  17. Super stuff, Norbold. Great work too. When will the details such as ISBN numbers and price be announced? EDIT- Found it out on amazon. Bloody hell, Norbold you written some books.
  18. A couple of posters were developing a book of greatest meetings ever taking each decade in question, what stage of development is at. I remember they had the probelm where they losted a great load of photos and information. It would make a great christmas present, Could someone spread some light on the situation.
  19. Coventry's track is my book terrible. Poole when prepared can be absolute brilliant, the World Cup of 2003 proves. Possibly the best racing and meeting seen in a while, race-off and final.
  20. The Olsen thing is a joke and a terrible one at that. Kolodziej I wouldnt mind see him but I just cant see it. If he does, well done, he's definetly knocking on the door.
  21. I love this on this forum, if someone has a rumour its normally their own personal hunch/wish.
  22. BSI are short-sighted thats why. i.e. Ole Olsen
  23. Good idea. The Czech need a world class rider to be discovered soon, Poland is the easier option with so many FIM-approved tracks, decent views from most positions. (Bydgoszcz is one of the worst)
  24. Arent Long Eaton supposed to be starting again? Sullivan joining Peterborough? Sheffield going Elite? All rumours, Kolodziej must prove himself on the world stage, I think if there are qualifiers next year he will be one of the favourites to qualify.
