  1. Pretty sure there was. Old man didn't go last year cause of covid so can't say for sure. Remember in past asking pensioners if could afford full price to pay it but sure there was always an option. Of course I could well be wrong... Again lol
  2. Yes. Glasgow children and oaps is £12. If I take my 75 year old father to Berwick on Saturday and Glasgow on Sunday cost exactly the same. Hence it's "the going rate"
  3. Yeah 100%. Now you mention it I'm sure we did that one year in the distant past against a Swedish outfit When say distant past I mean early 00s. Not so distant as what some on here no doubt go back to
  4. A pound cheaper on standard admission but dearer on concessions is a deviation on the going rate? Not in my mind
  5. Same at Glasgow. Additional 2 quid for seat in the stands. Think that's the going rate this year
  6. Don't think so, Scottish cup/ spring trophy both disappeared few years ago thankfully. Local derbies only stay interesting of not happening 5/6 times a season. I'd much have preferred an inter league challenge like had with Coventry few years ago. Let's guys get any gremlins out plus saw riders wouldn't see again that season.
  7. Surely, bspa should have used that money to pay Eastbourne debts? I mean even just ethically its correct thing to do (I know bspa and ethics what am I thinking)
  8. Couldn't they use for example the money Glasgow paid for Brennan?
  9. Tbh it's as competitive a British U21 I've seen for a long time. No bewley or Lambert who are a bit ahead of the others and it's quite a deep field. Palin should be improving on away tracks and kid I was really impressed with was Jordan Jenkins. All could be in podium hunt
  10. Flip side of that is same people might just have stayed home and checked the update site. At least with the stream the club still getting money in
  11. Speaking of French what about bellego and berge? They might be signed up to Denmark too right enough
  12. Frank smart and Roger lobb complete the team nicely
  13. 1 and 3 riding in Denmark on Wednesday nights, NBJ either retired or be doing the same
  14. Penny is due to drop for Bickley as well. Just wonder if a 2nd season at the same track could do wonders for him. In the drew kemp mould that they've learnt their trade time to kick on. Seem to remember Stevie worrall was kicking about the same kind of level then all of a sudden jumped from about a 3 to 6.5 with the enemy been heat leader ever since
  15. What I'd add as well is that ulle was written off when signed for us, was just about having season of his life in both leagues when got injured
  16. Think bandits still be play off contenders, couple of improvers could make up for any potential deficiency from proctor. Could go unbeaten at home, don't fancy the stripes chances there anyway
  17. Strange one, on his early Redcar days certainly would be a good signing. But don't think he showed any greater progress in some late season outings. No doubt get a spell at reserve after 1st set of averages might reignite him.
  18. Absolutely, well built side. Strength throughout team couple riders could significantly increase averages
  19. My vision of the Berwick final rider situation is every single day Gary flint phoning Thomas Jorgensen saying please, please change your mind and ride championship in hope he finally gives in
  20. You're probably in better position to judge tbf, being southern based riders. Will have home track advantage once get dialled being only Edinburgh similar size. As I said was just what they do away which will define their season. Wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong
  21. Wouldn't disagree with that. Down to injuries as much as anything as usual too.
  22. Nothing against Plymouth think win plenty at home, just don't see them doing much away with their bottom 3. Be in play off contention imo 5/6 teams better built to get points on the road
  23. Pretty sure Marcin was only given authority to ride in championship by the authorities because his season was effectively over as didn't make the play offs. From what I've been told they're reluctant to allow riders to go to the championship
  24. Much preferred the firestarter for Shane anyway myself
