  1. It's the reason why we have held test matches last 2 seasons and assume look to hold one next season too. Pairs might be ok as night before Cardiff and Somerset was always well attended. As a stand alone meeting, obviously be well attended by home fans but not the only thought in these decisions. Of course we don't know who else volunteered to hold it if anyone so there's that as well
  2. You realise our owners are bankrolling team GB yeah?
  3. We got pairs taken off us cause wasn't suitable for all clubs crowds not what expected. Ah hadn't seen that part. But with both champ finals being Poole and Oxford bit harsh in the majority of fans
  4. Pretty rotten for fans of northern clubs, hardly be more southern!! Always felt these things should be held at neutral venues personally. Sheffield was ideal, pretty central for most clubs and guaranteed good racetrack
  5. Looks a good side on paper. Should be top 3 looking at teams already announced and rumours of those that haven't. Berwick look good dependant on final signing, Poole no doubt be up there, Oxford too. Plymouth, Leicester, Edinburgh be in around play off picture. Can't wait to April!!
  6. Happy to see Ulrich getting another season, long as he's on good equipment hopeful can get close to form he was in
  7. Totally agree with you on both points. Just not sure he's a rider likely to be on our radar. If choice between Steve or cookie I'd have Craig all day
  8. Steve doesn't go Glasgow that well, not on attractive average either. I'd be very shocked if Steve ended up in Glasgow at any point in his career tbh
  9. I'd assume be broc/ 2nd string and the heat leaders be left to the last 2 announcements
  10. If that is remaining 3 riders then between them really just need to maintain their averages with potential in rest of the team. A fully motivated and focused Craig Cook can put a point on his average
  11. Cook, ostergaard and Nicol, looks pretty obvious now
  12. They wear red and white stripes. That's the clue
  13. He's been riding abroad. When we signed Ekberg hadn't ridden in Britain for 10 years was still same average as was riding in Sweden. Would be no recourse for reduction just cause not riding here
  14. As has been pointed out to you several times it's Glasgow in November with the option of watching it from comfort of your living room!! And by your reckoning are Newcastle a bigger club than Man city cause more fans go to their matches? No didn't think so
  15. Talk about splitting hairs Sorry couldn't help myself
  16. You're not suggesting they've signed someone who'd agreed a deal elsewhere? I won't believe it
  17. Or Glasgow with nowak. Imagine thinking owners of a multinational company with representation all over the world would have issue with getting Visa . Only them
  18. Looks more balanced than team finished season with. Jenkins and Edwards impressed me when I saw them, might find it more difficult at reserve this season as most teams have strengthened there. Roynon be my one concern but if anyone due bit of luck in British speedway it's him!!
  19. My god when I predicted a meltdown from poole I wasn't predicting it from the promotion
  20. You have absolutely no clue what Glasgow pay their riders or a clue what's in his contract. Bad enough get this rubbishe from clubs already in championship but when you're getting from Poole fans? Just take the bitter pill that is your own medicine n realise you're not the be all and end all of British speedway
  21. Bluster to appease fans all that is. Completely contradicting their "we must ride on Wednesday" preaching from 2019.
  22. By your own reckoning he's done 3 qualifying away meetings as KO cup and play offs don't count. If same rules are applied as 2011 for us and bellego
  23. Without doubt the best web address ever!!!
