  1. It's Oxford Vs Glasgow on Wednesday I believe https://britishspeedway.co.uk/cab-direct-championship/groups-for-championship-play-offs/
  2. Choice of guests at reserve be bit slim for both sides if Harrison is also out. 4 NDL teams in action, Killeen the obvious option but be good if gave guys like marson or Perry a go
  3. Missed Workington double header at Leicester yesterday can't see him riding today given it's a meaningless fixture
  4. Is Redcar in the route of the forecast thunderstorms today?
  5. Was my guess as Ben and bomber couldn't take r/r ride they got heat 15 as meeting was won and bonus wasn't affecting anything.
  6. Honestly cracks me up on here. Best meeting you're ever likely to see and got the usual suspects on here looking for negatives. Glasgow speedway must have some amount of accountants that everyone knows what our riders get. Gees peace. Bare in mind we never wanted to make the change and Vadim wasn't even first choice!! Anyway, what a bloody meeting that was, first class from all 14 riders. Ben's tape touch probs cost us the bonus and good to see Lee back among the points. More of the same in play offs please
  7. Given our abysmal form round WR we need to win this to avoid Poole in the groups. Never really thought Poole and Oxford would pick each other even if is logistically most sensible
  8. Nowak was scoring 7/8 at home anyway, it's not going to make huge difference there. And without going into detail everyone knows our weakness that hasn't changed. Away from home just don't know how he'll go as hasn't been amazing away in the prem. Most definitely not a done and dusted scenario
  9. Bydgoszcz have a play off match on the 10th..according to updates Ben isn't in the team but assume he has to be there
  10. Who knows, as usual the website is bang up to date with informing us about these things . You'd assume missing Sheffield has to be a huge doubt, and given for us it's a nothing meeting might be best sits it out
  11. Because a monopoly is no good for the sport. Yes it's up to other teams to improve and beat them but same team winning everything isn't very entertaining in my eyes. I have same feeling towards play offs but since this what we have that's my opinion on it
  12. Don't think bombers long track final is until the 17th, assume Ben must have a meeting in Poland
  13. Second dibs at what? Don't the league leaders pick their opponents thus leaving the other 3 with no choice?
  14. The only issue is I believe we have to declare our riding order 48 hours before, so if guess Claus will have been declared at 4 and if missing that's where r/r will need to be
  15. If Claus is missing be Tom, tarasenko and reserves get the r/r rides. Going to leave us weak in 2 heats unless Lee has his machine problems resolved.
  16. What I meant was that it we get better of Oxford over 2 legs once can do it again more then the total league points scenario. With greatest of respect to what is obviously a very successful team, the 8 other champ clubs fans be hoping for a non Poole final!
  17. Yeah plenty variables as you say. Will Oxford be more motivated than usual knowing a win puts them top? I've seen a fired up masters countless times round ashfield and that's a hard man to beat. Track conditions in 27 degree heat going to be interesting too, hard day for the track staff
  18. If we take bonus off Oxford tomorrow doesn't that put Iud ahead of them and more likely to progress also? Well neither do I but that's the rumour
  19. Don't think the bonus is beyond us here. Of the Oxford top 3 only masters is consistently very good around ashfield, Nichols and Kerr are bit up and down. Their second strings and reserves don't really have any kind of form around the track at all. If Vadim can hit the ground running I'd fancy 53-37 and sneak it
  20. You're right enough the rest of us should just throw the towel in now . Also since their rumoured to be picking each other that's an impossibility
  21. Was thinking about it makes sense for Oxford or Poole to pick Edinburgh and Glasgow logistically if can have both away meetings on say Friday/ Saturday on a sort of northern tour. But you're relying on the autumnal Scottish weather I suppose
  22. It was clear when Leicester got r/r after the clrc that they got the facility due to it. Edinburgh just don't seem to have been wanting to declare it reasons best known to them. Sad, like you say but I can't see Craig coming back now. That's 2 seasons in a row had this going on
