I was thinking this morning about the move Madsen (who is not even in the series full time this year) put on Kurtz to get into a final and how many of the current line up would even attempt it?

The one sided meeting I feared. Gorzow basically a team of 3 riders and sometimes 4 on a good day.

Am I right in saying the Danes use 5 man teams yet we are having a debate whether to go from 7 a side to 6? How well does 5 work for them?

The product has been ‘inferior’ for years and will continue to head that way in this country, it has nothing to do with the strength of the Ipswich side this year.

I enjoyed that meeting. Regarding the missing Russians, I still think Bartosz would win it even if they were there, he is that good. Well done Brady Kurtz too, a brilliant debut.

If Robert Lambert had Jason Doyle levels of tenacity then I think he could challenge over the course of a year but I fear it will be another one for Bartosz.

I think it’s time we stop trying to scrape together a few teams for a poor premier league and push to start a European speedway super league, could Lublin do it on a cold Monday night at Foxhall?

It would also create a bit of competition in terms of getting a ride in the first place and keeping it, we seem to spend most time on here questioning whether a rider is giving 100% rather than talking about the racing lately.

With teams struggling to get riders in the first place/replacement riders why are we seriously not looking at going to 6 rider teams?
