If he does return I can see him just doing Poland personally for this season. Marks not afraid to spend money when its needed. Only 2 riders can replace dan. BZ for his skill and speed. Or emil due to his popularity amongst fans.

echoe what everyone is saying, gutted for dan and belle vue, femur could mean season ending, but he does say its a clean break so hopefully he could return before end of season, although i doubt it. selfishly we have to discuss what belle vue do now, one thing for sure is whatever lemo does, its not dan bewley so already hes onto a loss. we are built for our top 2 scoring 26 plus points per meeting, R/R will not cover that, guests wont cover that. there is not 1 rider interested in coming to UK now so i really cant see us being able to tempt a lambert or emil over, so im guessing he might need to sacrifice some others and re-build the team from scratch. this is speedway, so i wont rule out lidsey being sacked from northampton and belle vue picking him up as dans replacement

i think both teams can be happy with that result

i do worry for my club this season though, the activity on my belle vue facebook page is down by more than double in interactions, im guessing a winter of delays have made people just give up on the sport

yeah, its a speedway problem for sure, the fans are there, proven by every club getting good crowds at some point in a season, good racing alone does not cut it, it needs other things going on, at affordable prices for families to especially if they want to call it a family sport things must change at the top, the club owners must change there ways also and not be happy with a 100k loss in a season

No wonder lawson was poor turning up with bikes not clean. Not very professional

anlas in the uk, they are rubbish apparently but a certain chairman profits off them so riders are forced to use them, not just tyres area problem for new riders coming over but its the type of shale we use over here also, so much different to abroad, all little things like that add up, got to give bangs a few months at least, let him see all the tracks frst and then judge him on his 2nd visits

expect a good 50% of them attending the GP will be local aces fans, for example in March i paid out for GP Tickets, belle vue season ticket and BSN, approx £600 for me, but im lucky i can afford it Many have to pick and choose there meetings now after spending £100 plus pounds on the GP, them tickets are equivalent of 5 race days and will sacrifice the 5 matches for the GP, it happened last year. we had good crowd against sheffield and leicester but that was down to one being a rival and the other being bank holiday. most clubs will also take a big hit when BSN are in town this year, Belle Vue themselves play a part in this though, there is no where near enough effort put in to selling the sport to new people, no advertisement, no banners anywhere, we dont even have anything in the local paper about us

Good win and shown why belle vue will win at a canter this season. Very poor performance yet still ran out easy winners. Poor crowd yes but same last year. First 5 matches took a big hit because of the GP then soon as that finished the crowds improved massively. Expect same to happen again. Belle vue really need to get them expensive GP tickets on sale much sooner than a few weeks before the season. Wouldn't worry about bangs. Not easy settling into the uk. The tyres are not fit for purpose and it can take a rider a full season to learn how the tyre reacts etc.

this is half the problem with the sport, being portrayed as a family sport, we need to step away from that, especially now families have been priced out of it, sell it as what it is, an extreme sport
