Bad day for Leicester fans as I’ve heard that if it ends up only being 1 league in British Speedway, Stewart Dickson will snub Leicester to focus on Berwick.

Etheridge very good in the final tonight - no doubt about that, but I can’t be the only one who wouldn’t go anywhere near him when it comes to building our team for next season. He’s been a decent servant for Berwick but if you want to go and win trophies you can’t have him in your 1-5, especially away from home where he is woeful. thoughts?

You’ll come running back to Shielfield in a couple of years when Ashfield is demolished and turned into another ‘Allied Vehicles’ carpark. If you can’t ‘get behind the lads’ during the bad times, you don’t deserve the good times.

Sad to hear that young Berwick NJL superstar Owen Booths season has come to an end. He’s made some great progress this year and hopefully he can kick on again next year. Definitely one to watch out for in the future for the Bandits!

Poole somehow managing to squeeze a team GB World Cup star in at reserve might’ve had a say on the result tonight. Pleased with the effort from the Berwick lads however, Knudsen getting his average down for Redcar next season?

Hopefully the travelling Poole fans get to see a decent meeting tomorrow night, although even just a singular pass will top the dross they watch at Wimborne Road every week.

Rory Schlein would’ve got more than Worrall - no doubt about that. Fair enough TJ probably wouldn’t have won 2 races but Sedgy didn’t exactly score too well in the end. Hooky would’ve got atleast 6 tonight - far more than Luke Killeen. Guests didn’t improve us and the small group of travelling bears can be thankful that we weren’t at full strength tonight - it could’ve been a cricket score.

Plastic. Bet you’ll be rushing back to Shielfield next week now that we’re heading for the playoffs!
