  1. I think that’s a Hungarian flag on his race bib, but the helmet, the bike and the kevlars look too modern for it to be my automatic guess of Robert Nagy. I’m wracking my brain for Hungarian riders and can’t think of any. Was Zoltan Adorjan Hungarian? Is it him?
  2. For those who haven’t seen it. Very best of wishes to him and what a wonderful creation air fences are. On a standard fence, that impact is career-threatening. He’ll be tender, but thanks to Poland’s finest morphine, he’ll be comfortable. https://x.com/parkmaszyn/status/1700942593960349719?s=46&t=X-fQh82nyLXPqBG4Ugqe7Q
  3. With hindsight, I’m asking about one meeting while we’re getting six live ones in the space of fourteen days. Unbelievable. Incredible work from those at BSN.
  4. That’s quite disappointing; you would expect Oxford versus Glasgow to be a closer match, plus it appears that Scunthorpe are making more live appearances on BSN than any other club in the play-offs. @jduffill are you able to shed any light?
  5. Best wishes to Wright. I’ve just read on Twitter/X that he left the track in an ambulance, but hopefully it’s precautionary.
  6. Cami Brown said Pijper’s x-rays are tomorrow while Vissing gets the results of his tomorrow. If there are no breaks observed in Vissing’s, he’ll be back as he’s “feeling better”.
  7. Okay, one clue: he won heat three of his first and only GP which was the 1996 Italian GP in Lonigo.
  8. An away win at Redcar following a home win against Oxford is an outstanding end to the season for Glasgow. That’s a lot of confidence to carry into the play-offs.
  9. I was admiring the matching team kevlars on Friday night, but remember you used to be able to recognise each rider by their individual ones. When I was a young boy, I’d even design my own on a piece of paper with some felt tip pens. Anyway, I’ll fire one of these in here every day; no clues allowed, just guess and the person to guess correctly has a turn, etc. It’ll be more fun than a PlayStation. Here’s the first one and we’re going back a few years. Guess who?
  10. Not ideal that the two meetings at Ashfield are on Tuesdays, instead of Fridays, but I’m sure there’s good reason for that. Redcar at home might be a challenge to get to due to work commitments, but after Friday night’s encounter, I’d gargle Boris Johnson’s bath water to see another Glasgow versus Oxford. All over that. Then, I’ll be at whatever leg of the final is at Ashfield…
  11. I actually joined just after I purchased the CLRC on BSN, so I could watch and discuss it, but noticed my posts required approval, so reached-out to admin who kindly sorted it. My handwriting was too big for the box for each heat’s time in the programme, so I stuck to one decimal place. On that note, I’ve got a bone to pick with the stadium announcer at Ashfield who caused my programme to look like a scribbling mess.
  12. That’s the profile of a troubled mind; I asked for the inane ramblings of. Almost. At least you tried. Anyway, go away, I’m busy trying to keep up this act and you’re distracting me.
  13. That isn’t narcissism; that’s being organised. Narcissism was when I shouted “TWENTY POUNDS, GOING IN” and waved the note in the air before chucking it in Lewis Kerr’s Ben Fund collection bag on Friday night.
  14. How do you respond to maniacs like this, @iainb? To be fair, he does have a point. I mean, between tagging people and quoting posts, I’m basically a Quantum Physicist.
  15. And now we’re all in awe of your replacement of “ss” with “$$”. Ofcom don’t stand a chance. Gaz 1, Watershed 0.
  16. Which part wasn’t “entirely clear” Gaz? Let’s not beat around the bush; be specific, since you’re the one who failed to understand it. That was a rhetorical question, by the way, because I know fine well you won’t back-up your comment. Also, if you do one thing for me, please let it be to stop this amateur dramatics “I’ll bite” nonsense.
  17. You could be right about the last heat; that makes sense. If Tarasenko had ridden though, I think Glasgow would have taken the bonus point to a race-off, at very least. I know the bonus point would have made no difference to the league table, but that would have been a big marker to lay down ahead of the play-offs, recovering from a 52-38 defeat in Oxford to take the bonus point.
