  1. Have a look at Ashtons social media posts. How many bike issues & mechanics were blamed for his struggle in form ? You can't sort a problem if the problem is denied ,and are you telling me Oxford would have kept a rider who signed on a 5.07 and was due to drop to 3 in his new average ? Every man and his dog could see there was serious confidence issues, even when practising with a team mate, the issue was glaringly obvious. Everyone wants to see the lad succeed regardless of what team you support as he was a talented British rider but pushing for some sort of success when his mental struggles were starting to not only cost him in results but becomes a danger to other riders there is no other option than for a big time out. Hopefully he will return at some point but not convinced he will.
  2. Maybe a group hug will work better this time, 2 days later and you still seem very uptight
  3. Low IQ response for low IQ "valid and constructive points".
  4. Someone give him a cuddle, his whinging is hurting everyone's ears.
  5. That was a gaters track was it Paul ? Why were the Glasgow riders using the inside line while Poole used the dirt on the outside line ? You ain't going to pass if your not chasing the dirt. Poole were the better team from the off and raced Ashfield like it was their home track ,which is no surprise. But Glasgow had an off night, we take it on the chin and admit to having a poor night without looking for excuses.
  6. To solve a problem you have to admit there is one, and then take every bit of help offered. Never going to solve the issue if its everything and everyone else's fault. The implosion on Friday at Armadale was inevitable, but to most unsurprising.
  7. Nope, club haven't signed anyone
  8. Water going down till past midnight the night before mid summer time, hot sun cold wind in May makes balancing watering extremely challenging.
  9. A different Freddy and Max this season.
  10. Kyle should benefit from track time available at Glasgow, looks sharp in practise and seems like he's got his 2025 season head on already.
  11. Who would have imagined a local lad would use his local track ? Just saying like 😃
  12. Glasgows original team involved both lads in Glasgows 2025 team ,however a miscount of 0.01 prevented this team to go ahead and changes were forced.
  13. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Coventry, Rugby & Madrid
  14. A tonne load of track time and running equipment on a totally different level to those around him plays a massive part in his results so far, far fairer playing field in the Championship so time will tell if he's as cracked up to the hype around him.
  15. Connor now back in Australia with no intention of returning to speedway, and it looks like Paul Starke will be signing for Poole and potentially their fall guy for Cairns coming in.
  16. 100 quid says he will, winner donates the money to cash for kids
  17. Glasgow will be running a NDL level Glasgow select team in 2025 with the focus being entering the League in 2026. Andrew Meredith & Gordon Mcdonald will be the team managers, and will be running 'friendlies', individuals & challenge events. After each event all riders from both teams will be given track time after the meeting to allow them to work on things that they may have struggled with while racing. Glasgow will be looking at running on a Sunday for NDL level racing ,with Glasgows track staff running practise days to help with the team funding. Where Glasgow has fallen behind in youth development, 2025 should see a significant change to that.
  18. Glasgows team up on 2nd December for social media stuff for team announcement.
  19. Actually, I'll put my hand up and agree it was an over-reaction , not baseless however, but still an overreaction. The mental health comment wasn't a woke based remark, speedway as a sport has to look at the pressures its putting on its youngsters. I get the post is meant as tongue in cheek, in comparison to what was said in a previous 12 page topic it's lighthearted but when there's already been 12 pages pretty much tearing a 17 year old apart not to mention the pages and pages on other social media sources, do we still have to keep using a 17 yr old for topics of interest? Anyway To the OP, sorry for the over-reaction, heart was engaged before the head.
  20. I think any youngsters coming to Glasgow has a good chance to greatly improve, with the 2 tracks big and small and unrestricted track time they would have a great chance to really develop.
  21. So we've seen the likes of Connor Bailey and other youngsters drop out the sport due to mental health yet we seem to think its acceptable to continue to hound young Vinnie Foord. Away and give your head a wobble and get a grip, and ironically all done by hiding away behind a faceless profile, absolutely pathetic.
  22. Similar tracks shape wise but track material very different. Claus has said in interviews he likes clay, something Workington can't go too heavy with it due to the tracks location.
  23. He doesn't know because that's not the team
