Birmingham not coughed up?

I've moaned about the junk on the centregreen before, moved for a while. Surely the water bowser and tractor with the blade weren't going to be needed? And bearing mind the formula one incident, the stuff around the 3rd and 4th bend needs moving. As for tonight, dont want any of this years 'heat leaders ' back next year. Monarchs far superior and the best team won.

Thought I would start this in the general section. Find it hard to believe really. Hope the link work. http://www.eadt.co.uk/news/mildenhall_owners_of_mildenhall_stadium_must_pay_at_least_238_000_of_their_opponents_legal_bills_1_3697148

Can remember the mighty TG scraping the fence when going round Leigh Adams and someone else to get a draw against Kings Lynn. -

I know there are loads of factors to take into consideration when preparing the track but we have had a Good Friday afternoon meeting every year since the speedway (no doubt I will be corrected if we haven't) reopened so surely some lessons have been learn't over the years about day time meetings track prep? I think we will nick all the league points on monday. -

The meeting wasn't too bad with a few interesting heats but its a pity that the outside doesn't seem to work anymore. if Nicholls and Gollob were here now, they would struggle to make it work. Well, perhaps not but it would make for better racing. -

Expect I am wrong but I thought that Speedworth purchased the stadium hence all the investment and improvement. -

I think it depends on the rider, some might buckle under the pressure of a must win heat but if he takes it as' just another race' might do better. -

I hope that Cook signing for an Premier team doesn't stop him getting fixed up in poland as thats where He needs to ride to take the next step in his career. Should He be focusing on EL, Sweden and Poland?

Being a Suffolk lad, I have seen a few ploughed fields in my time and no way can the track on thursday be called a ploughed field. And I disagree about Cook not looking for his team mate. He certainly was in heat 11 for the first lap but Ellis got to close so Cook cleared off. In my opinion Cook has a decision to make in the winter. Do he stay in the PL, make money and remain a big fish in a relatively small pond or give up the PL and push himself in Poland etc to achieve his full potential.
