  1. Anyone in particular spring to mind?
  2. That's a tough one but having read the press release on how influential LR has been on Arran Butcher's career I'd say he is the man! I mean there is no way you would be able to persuade Alfie Bowtell and Jack Smith to ride for 3rd division pay Deano!!!
  3. Whoever it is, have the main man at the helm who is proven to be very prudent with other people's cash and will spend it very wisely
  4. WTF! just merely responded to someone who said Supermarket's won't touch ex-cons by pointing out that Timpson's business model is to do so and he's one of the UK's wealthiest men! Personally, I don't give a flying f'k if Garrity is back in speedway or not, if someone chooses to give him a chance good luck to them, there are plenty of wrong un's involved in the sport on and off the track already!
  5. James Timpson is a multi millionaire through giving people like JG another chance!
  6. Let's hope so with the amount of money Mr Rogers' backers have invested!
  7. 20 years ago they had an amazing deal out of Sky, sadly a large % went in commission whilst the remainder was squandered and the broadcaster taken for granted!
  8. A roaring success? Given Mr Rogers' track record at Mildenhall, Newport, Coventry, Plymouth and Birmingham I am sure it will be! 🤪
  9. With Laurence Rogers at the helm, it's bound to be!
  10. lol - no wonder with the team they assembled!
  11. 2 of the team not even at 2nd half Midland Development League standard, let alone asking people to pay to watch them at NDL level! Poor from those who run at junior racing at Birmingham.
  12. Rew’s a Brummie, but ssssh I didn’t tell you that before Big Phil 😂😂
  13. So they’re not making Brennan stay at Brum then Big Phil? You got TTT all angry and wound up another nothing. 😂
  14. It’s Bryan! Come on Big Phil get it right.
  15. You tell me Big Phil, you’re the man in the know
  16. Brummies co-promoter Laurence Rogers has the unenviable task of sorting the logistics for the meeting and ensuring the four teams have riders! He said, “ well I’ve had to change the date a few times now and tie in the availability of the riders to represent the four Midlands teams. I am hoping the majority, if not all, of the riders who were due to line up on the 30th will be able to ride on October 7th. It’s also ensuring we have the medical cover, security and staff in place and that the stadium is available that day! We also have five sponsors in place for the meeting and they can hopefully be in attendance plus our commercial manager Steve Rolleston has several possible sponsors for 2025 due to be there. “ “We also have had a good response for advance tickets including a lot taking up the Gold VIP ticket so again I have to make sure all those who have booked so far are able to make the new date. He's the best in the business is old Laurence! Lets hope that the Stadium, the medical team and security are all available, as the logistics of getting riders must be a nightmare as well as contacting all those advance ticket holders.
  17. No mention of Kingy sliding off on his own or Rew not using his noddle twice I see.
  18. When you hear who Rogers has lined up to cover for Pawlicki, you’ll be looking to amend that!…… …. to 25 just hope the authorities step in and say guest facility granted to at least make it semi competitive
  19. thought you had heard Pawlick and Milik were Birmingham bound, Phil?
