I dont know what others think but in my view if Cookie isnt up for it we need to look for a replacement also Vinnie is out for a while by all accounts so maybe we look to replace him (temporarily) R/R and guests isnt really working. The other issue which is a good problem that works against us is that there is really no home advantage visitors are up to speed on the first ride which isnt the case at the more technical??? (awkward) tracks

Whats going on with Craig Cook ??
-
At the end of the day we only need a reserve that doesn't mean the best you can hope for in a heat is 3-3
-
I was quite impressed with the performance against Scunny although sad to say Jamie Etherington is way off the pace looks like another Sam McGurk scenario. Im sure the promotion will be looking at options to cover Vinnies absence and Jamie.

I agree that the team appears top heavy, IF Cook is in the right space and Zischke regains his form the team will be very strong all depends on the IF

Thing is I didnt know who this guy was or has done, it took me 2 minutes to find out. Surely he isnt in the frame
-
It must be work permit issues if we really havent got 2 names in the frame at this stage I worry
-
It looks like we are neck and neck with Scunthorpe in the competition to be last to announce the 2026 teams. Just a bit longer and we can win. TBH its boring now.
-
Yeah Cliff built and promoted Park Road and The Furness Flyers sadly the supporters didnt come and the enterprise went under. Two reasons I suppose track was out of town and poor team.

I must say I find the total radio blackout worrying some information would be good. Any rumours or snippets ??

Maybe there'll be an announcement tomorrow christmas pressie for supporters
-
Agree so get announcing
-
Surely there'll be a rider announcement shortly we are finding out from other teams who we haven't got next year but still waiting in anticipation.

Batch seems to like Worky all the nay sayers have been proved wrong he has performed and behaved like the pro he is is. Now who is next? will it be a good heat leader or strong second strings. Not sure Vuolas is who is needed would like to see a much more steady performer home and away
-
I tend to agree we need heat leaders who can at least hold there own on most tracks.
-
just been announced Riss is going to Oxford
-
The decision to not include Jacob Hook has created waves thats for sure. I would like to see some more announcements coming soon so that people can get to see what the plans and vision are. Im sure there s a good reason for the decision whoever's it was.

Tate is a good signing if he fully regains his mojo he will be a steal on his average

if the actual lights are LED lamps the power consumption will be fairly modest and a generator would run easily

I think one league will be a good solution as it will bring more variety and competition. The main issue is, as has been said, is how riders are graded and allocated. If some of he big guns do ride it will put teams who ride Friday, Saturday and Sunday at an immediate disadvantage as due to other commitments they wont get the riders and the could be very unbalanced.

I think your right the push will be to get a couple of teams probably Poole and Glasgow to move up to the premiership and a couple of teams who are racing in NDL to move up to the championship. I fear that this will dilute the championship and make it less attractive to the casual supporter.

I remember many moons ago Mike Sampson, Bob Coles and Chris Roynon used to pitch up to Holker Street in an old ford zodiac with a three bike trailer on the back.

I'm of the same opinion as a number of you. Racing with 2 leagues of seven and eight teams is crazy and doesnt give the supporters enough variety. The doubling up situation is a major problem as the sense of "My Team" is essentially lost, How can it be right that a Championship heat leader also rides as a heat leader in the Premiership, it used to be that a heat leader would ride as a reserve in the top flight. Taking the star riders out of the equation the standard of riders in Premiership and Championship is pretty similar, has to be there the same bunch of riders so why not go to one league of 15 teams and maybe encourage a couple of NDL tracks to join to give more meetings, more variety etc. Lets be fair for speedway fans certain teams are a draw Belle Vue for example. I hope what ever the wat forward is that Workington are involved and the problems are resolved. It looks as though Birmingham are going at the end of the year which is another nail in the coffin.

I think Craig Cook and Paul Stark will be missed. Vissing has never turned in the performances I was expecting unfortunately I think he is probably bound for Edinburgh, although Poole and Plymouth arent complete yet
