  1. Can any of the officials / promoters / team managers please check what the rules are with regards poor weather during a SWC meeting. I seem to remember it was not very clear last time we had the SWC in the UK. Track Preparation. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we keep Mr Ole Olsen away from the track!
  2. See you all in Sam's Bar from 2:00pm. I have also checked with the owner that there is plenty of bar staff on this year at Sam’s bar! Prince Of Wales 4:00pm / 5:00pm PS. Just a polite request , don't moan about anything to do with the forum to me!
  3. There is only 1 banner worth talking about PS. Don't forget a pen Steve!
  4. I still have a spare ticket, any reasonable offer considered
  5. Isn't the bus station closed at night due to the roads in the center being closed?
  6. Does not really matter what is on the ticket as you can often find a seat in any section. Every year there has been several places in the VIP ticket area.
  7. I have 1 x British Grand Prix Ticket for sale. It's a £25 ticket but any reasonable offer considered. The seat is for the middle of bend 1 and 2 (not on the track of course!) but you can always find empty seats in any sections so you can sit where ever you want in reality. Any reasonable offer considered. Get in touch if you are interested. Phil
  8. Cardiff Sam's Bar 2:00pm Prince Of Wales 4:00pm / 5:00pm Map Photo's etc... http://www.speedwaymanager.co.uk/gp/ The near stadium (2)
  9. Thankfully I have got a lift with the ‘The Grim Reaper’ who ever he is.
  10. Anyone got one for the British GP with the riders?
  11. I see Greg has copied the FAST style logo lettering So do we get in for Free PS. Max also uses it on his seat covers.
  12. Link to details used last year. Will update them nearer the time. http://www.speedwaymanager.co.uk/gp/
  13. I suggest the same as the previous years Sam’s Bar followed by the Prince of Wales. Not sure if I am going yet, got the tickets but no where to stay due to a booking error at the places I have stayed at for the last 3 years.
  14. As the word "Golden Tactical" etc. have been removed from the rules it would be very helpful if Racer X could post the new rules / definitions.
  15. I was under the impression that 3 golden tactical's and a golden double could be used but reading the hull programme it appears it is only 2 golden tactical's and 1 golden double.
  16. Any news in the speedway star regarding what the promoters think? They must have realised by now that some people are not happy.
  17. No mention of the PL Fours, Pairs PLRC, ELRC in the statement.
  18. Racer X – You have made your point now let everyone else make theres in peace!
  19. If it does stay one big problem I had in the KOC was sometimes did not know when it was been done and therefore messed all the scores up! You could get to heat 15 not knowing who has won! Explain that to a new support! Will probably see the golden helmet cover coming in so we know At least with the tac sub the scores where still equal and with the golden double from 15 yards back you could easliy tell!
  20. Agree with 4 rides, it annoyed me a bit when the reserve was taken out of heat 8 and for the other team the reserve was up against the top riders was totally unfair but it IMO it does not make giving points away to the other team any better. What happens when the heat leader who has been picked for the double points is behind his team mate… Answer we get up to two races which are not racing as the other riders will slow right down to let the double pointer pass him.
  21. I think some of the idea’s are good to come out of the conference but we ALWAYS see either no rules or rules changing throughout the season which make some of the good ideas a joke! Some one brought up the point that the team to win this year will be the team that exploits so the so called rules the most. - Agree I put it to the BSPA to publish in full the rules or notes etc. to the speedway public well before the season starts and if possible before the team building. If they are open about it then there is a lot less chance of different scenarios being missed in the rules. If not at least publish them to some people outside the BSPA committee to analyses such as the likes of Kevin Meynell and John Lowe thats if they have not left speedway for good already. Will the BSPA ever listen!
