  1. Agree with the "old TS stopped lesser team members having a full quota of rides, more often than not losing their easier rides in hts 8 or 14." but IMO it still not does mean we have to have the stupid Tactical Ride / Tactical Substitutes where points are just given away. I don't care if teams are being hammered especially if means races such as the big heat 13 are not thrown. I am getting robbed of decent racing because riders are asked throw races! It is worrying that some riders such as Chris Louis continually plug it on sky and think it is great!
  2. Is the question worded ok? Sorry Grachan I cannot change it to allow you to vote again.
  3. There were lengthy discussions about the new Tactical Rides and Tactical substitutes introduced for the 2004 season. The topic and poll can be viewed here The new ruling basically allows a team managers to nominate two riders whose points can count as double if a team is eight points behind. There was an overwhelming majority of people who voted against these new facilities however some people wanted to see how it went this year before voting and giving there views. We have now had almost a full season with the Tactical Rides and Tactical substitutes so the vote and discussion are starting again. So what do you think of it? Discuss and Vote....
  4. Are we sure this is not Shoddy on the forum, he always goes on about Neil Evitts!
  5. Time to move on folks and get over it please.
  6. Well everyone who wants to have their say must have done so by now so it’s about time this discussion was closed I think.

  10. Benfield have no grandstand tickets left. However, the Poole promotion still have some left in the grandstand just in front of the starting gate. These are prime tickets, so if you want one you will need to phone the speedway office (01202 681145) and book them, or ask one of the promoters tomorrow night. Both Matt and Mike I am sure will be able to help you if you are quick. I am pretty sure the tickets sold on the day and online are for the temp stands. Oh!.... I did not bother ordering one as you said they were all sold out Steve!
  11. Just wanted to say that I thought Joe rode exceptionally well on Monday night with great skill and determination. It wasn’t the easiest track to pass on and Joe rode full throttle on the back wheel to pass riders! Well done Joe you have done the country proud
  12. It is actually in the rules that all teams must have a team racing suits but not everyone has £2000 to £3000 spare in their budget to have fancy Kevlar’s. Admittedly they could have the moto x type tops made but it is all money which does not grow on palm tress in the SWC. I believe one of the reason USA are not competing is because is costs to much.
  13. Well done lads, you did your country proud. We could see you were well up for it and it sends a strong message out to the rest of the teams. Everyone gave it 110%. Roll on Saturday night with 5 lions on the track.
  14. Yep..... Sticky: SWC Programme - Right Here! Direct from the SCB!
  15. So no one knows the rules? Hopefully there will be no rain but it is a shame no one appears to know?
  16. I thought this was the case but could not find it in this years rules. It is crazy not allowing a reserve to be on stand by.
  17. SWC injured rider rules? What happens if a rider pulls out of the meeting after the first race?

The team spirit instilled in the Danish team by their manager Jacob Olsen has helped to turn the young Denmark squad into genuine title contenders. World Champion Nicki Pedersen takes the reins as captain ably supported by GP stars Hans Andersen and Bjarne Pedersen. The fast improving youngsters Kenneth Bjerre and Niels-Kristian Iversen will undoubtedly by looking to make a huge impression. Write the Czech Republic off at your peril.
