  1. Clubs should really start recording them again with the new exhausts coming in this year, the current track records are doubtfully to be beaten again.
  2. Free speedway, grrrreat. Possible chance of tiny drizzle just what the track will need. A few former Sheffield riders on track. Think i will take a trip over for this meeting.
  3. is that the end of the stadium, only just catching up on things. ?
  4. Sorry if already been mentioned .... http://www.cambridge...nt-pay-bill.htm
  5. Steven Ribbons you have a PM explain why it was requested to be removed. Also correct your email address or PM it to me.
  6. PLEASE DO NOT POST LIBELOUS COMMENTS!!!!!
  7. So it looks like it does not start till 7pm. What utter rubbish service from sky
  8. 1 Jason CRUMP £50,000 - Captain. 6 Nicki PEDERSEN £45,000 9 Fredrik LINDGREN £35,000 12 Chris HOLDER £35,000 13 Jaroslaw HAMPEL £25,000 Total £190,000
  9. You are not adding to your ever growing CV are you Fd !?! Do they ever do sidecars on ice?
  10. Salaries for well qualified professionals can be nearly as high as in the UK however the the average gross monthly wage across Poland in August 2008 was PLN 3,165 according to official statistics. So thats about £720 to £750 a month depending on ex rate.
  11. Will be a bit cold and a chance of "Sprinkles" in the afternoon. http://weather.msn.com/hourly.aspx?&we...tunit=C#details

  13. I see Czestochowa have signed two young Brits, Kennett & Bridger
  14. Last year I did the same and 84.40% voted NO to keeping the Tactical Ride / Tactical Substitute. The new ruling basically allows a team managers to nominate two riders whose points can count as double if a team is eight nine points behind. Have your views changed? So what do you think of it?
  15. Well done to all the British riders, good experience for the future, and next years competition. Nice to see so many of you have been talking about them, opposed to the foreigners in your team.
  16. Next years line up i think will probably be: 1 Rickardson 2 Crump 3 Nikki P 4 Adams 5 Hancock 6 Bjarne P 7 Gollob 8 Jonsson 9 Hampel 10 Nicholls 11 Lindback 12 Richardson / Loram. 13 Andersen 14 Zagar 15 ? They should speak to Mark Loram and ask him how interested his is and what support team / sponsors etc he has. Then if he REALLY wants to be back in the GP give him the ride instead of Lee Richardson. Would certainly make it more interesting.
  17. "Sheffield are also pleased to be staging a second half academy fixture featuring some of Britain's best young under-16's. The meeting will be staged over eight races and fans are urged to stay behind and give the youngsters some encouragement." http://www.sheffieldspeedway.com/
  18. Thanks to Peter Ballinger for the quality instructions on getting from the airport and to the GP. Super GP thanks to Scotty and the brilliant atmosphere on the 3rd bend (loads of brits there, even spotted a few with the same race cards! There was only about 6 of us on the tram back from the GP, slight disappointment that GP closed so quickly afterwards and was walked out of the grounds by the police while trying to talk to Tony Steele, they would not even give us ‘two minutes’ warning to leave. Visited nearly every major attraction in the guidebook included the 299 steps up Saint Vitus Cathedral at the Castle….Think I will give all them steps a miss next year!. The lift in the TV tower is a much better idea and the lift up Petrin Hill I was a bit tired at the British Final in Legends but was good with about forty people in there. I wonder how many people would have been there if there were no BSF! Come to think of it some people may have never met each other, unofficially of course. Didn’t have a single problem for the whole week we were there, but didn’t go into town on the Saturday night. If you drink in pubs like the George and the Dragon then you have only yourselves to blame, no offence to yourself though Tsunami. Walked up Wenslasus Square a couple of times but never even thought about eating or drinking in that direct area, apart from Lucerna Music Bar which is a converted theatre playing 70 and 80’s on the Friday night. Which was good fun, relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent in all the restaurants we ate in, some very good ones such as Kolkovna close to the old town and towards the Jewish area as well as some local to our Hotel. Nice cocktail bar near hotel called Jet Set for the odd drink or three! The Ibis Hotel at Andel was pretty awful and I really would not recommend it for next year, well not until my place is securely booked!
  19. Still raining here, plenty of standing water on the road and the tram tracks, off to practice later, although dont expect to see much in the way of bikes.
