Big pressure on Tate Zischke this season as it looks like he will be starting at 5

There will be 3 unknowns in the Workington next season never to have rode in England before building the assets base up which would suggest Batchelor will be number 1 and Tate at 5

I really hope the Comets have a replacement for Cook could be a long and uncomfortable season. Hold tight folks next season team is running on a shoe string.. Rumours the club is in financial ruin and this could prove it. Workington will not replace Cook to same standard or above.

100% agree on this. Batchelor had a brilliant season and will struggle to better it. In my eyes that won’t happen. He is not a number 1 We need both Cook and Batchelor to lead the team.

Think a lot of people are forgetting the impact Cook has on a meeting/ the team this guy needs to be recognised for Tate rise in his early rides. Vintage Cook riding covering every line possible team riding. Not to mention heat 15 against Oxford at home defended every attack. Away performances not the worst good at Plymouth, Oxford, Redcar, Edinburgh… If Cook has left Workington he will be a miss for sure there is a big lack of number 1 in the league and will weaken Workington for sure in 2025

The point limit is going to be 40. I would think it would be between Cook and Batchelor for number 1 place. I would personally go for Cook but I am hearing wages are an issue with him. We could still have Batchelor if Voulas isn’t back. This might be a controversial post but I wouldn’t have Voulas back.. Yes his home form is very good but I can’t see his away form improving anytime soon also with his desire to be in Poland how committed will he be? Zischke will need time to settle again after a bad accident I am sure he will be fine but will take time hence why I wouldn’t have Voulas back the team could be very weak early on. I am also hearing that Zischke is bringing another Aussie back with him which will be Mitchell Cluff time will tell. Possible team below 1, Troy Batchelor 2, Simon Lambert 3, Tate Zischke 4, Mitchell Cluff 5, Craig Cook 6, Ace Piper / Dayle Wood 7, Paul Starke Thoughts?
