All Workington riders have been banned from guesting while the clubs suspension is taking place. So Voulas and Foord both supposed to be riding tonight have been banned and will not be riding for Birmingham and Ipswich. This is now seeing the riders hit in their pocket for the clubs incompetence. And a lot still think our riders are not looking elsewhere to ride?

No the promotion can’t help the weather that was never mentioned. But they can help being suspended from racing. Or is that the weathers fault too? Smell the coffee and stop sugar coating this errors have been made and now everyone must suffer the consequences inc riders and fans. But again if the promotion actually bothered to communicate all this could be explained.

The promotion still haven’t made a statement. The last statement was on Cumbria Crack 2 hours ago mentioned no Berwick fixture. Like it or not the communication to the fans is terrible.

I was just made aware of 2 riders asking to be moved on no names were mentioned. I would guess this is due to the lack of meetings and income. The riders will have bills like us all.

100% agree on this Week on week the promotion pledge to the fans to keep supporting. But can’t even keep the paying public in the picture instead having to hear from Berwick social media that this weeks fixture has been cancelled. Poor communication and not fair on the fans. Whatever the issue is it’s taking longer than the 7 days to rectify or if can even be rectified. I have also heard that at least 2 riders and looking for new clubs.

Time will tell watch this space. HMRC have been banging on the doors for 2 years now time is up.

Go Fund for human error or management being incompetent get a grip! There has been a go fund for a break in and storm damage. The fans have paid enough! The only club that runs cash only system rings alarm bells. Dodged the tax man for too long. Over 50 sponsors board around the track were as that money gone? From what I have heard Workington are in deep trouble. Not to mention there will be a big fine from the BSPA for this are we setting a go fund up for this?

All quiet on the signing front which is slightly concerning. Have Workington hit a road block. Looking at points available I would think Batchelor is nailed on at number 1 but why not announced? Is he to reunited with Cook at Berwick or even Plymouth? Not many number 1 left or even available seem a bit weird regardless who the 4 point rider is surely we have a number 1 agreed? Thoughts

There will be 3 unknowns in the Workington next season never to have rode in England before building the assets base up which would suggest Batchelor will be number 1 and Tate at 5

I really hope the Comets have a replacement for Cook could be a long and uncomfortable season. Hold tight folks next season team is running on a shoe string.. Rumours the club is in financial ruin and this could prove it. Workington will not replace Cook to same standard or above.

100% agree on this. Batchelor had a brilliant season and will struggle to better it. In my eyes that won’t happen. He is not a number 1 We need both Cook and Batchelor to lead the team.

Think a lot of people are forgetting the impact Cook has on a meeting/ the team this guy needs to be recognised for Tate rise in his early rides. Vintage Cook riding covering every line possible team riding. Not to mention heat 15 against Oxford at home defended every attack. Away performances not the worst good at Plymouth, Oxford, Redcar, Edinburgh… If Cook has left Workington he will be a miss for sure there is a big lack of number 1 in the league and will weaken Workington for sure in 2025
