  1. You're missing the point. As Gerry Facenna rightly pointed out some teams set up their track for massive home advantage to ensure a home win at the expense of any racing - and its' killing speedway as a spectacle as proven by falling attendances, whereas at Ashfield they adopt the reverse logic by having a fair track that both teams can actually race on and its a fair contest. That's the difference.
  2. Exactly. One of the worst prepared tracks I've ever seen. An absolute disgrace.
  3. Based on what - so you're saying if a track is crap then after a few heats - as if by magic - it suddenly becomes a great track. Yeah great logic.
  4. I replied to different posts, trust you're capable of understanding that or if you're still confused ask your mum for help. Run along now.
  5. The track is a disgrace its a joke of a track today. Exactly the type of track Gerry Facenna said is killing speedway set up t o make sure the home team win just gate and follow my leader totally boring.
  6. Don't think its a team thing, you have capable experienced riders going full pelt but can't make any ground at all when the same riders make ground and pass on most other tracks but going backwards on this track something is wrong with the track.
  7. Its a disgrace. Exactly the kind of track that Gerry Facenna said is killing speedway. What we need are tracks set up for fair racing not doctored to suit the home team gater's paradise and follow-my-leader just totally boring to watch.
  8. When they looked at the starts on BSN there wasn't even any dirt on one of the gates, Greg Bair noted that it was down to the base! On the track walk round on BSN they also said they never rip up the starts at all - well there's hardly any dirt anyway if down to the base! No wonder the visiting riders aint getting out of the starts!
  9. Today its just a gater's track. It's exactly the type of track Gerry Facenna said is killing speedway. Just set it up for the home team to win rather than proper racing.
  10. I guess that's the trouble with humour, there's usually a not so funny side.
  11. But it was a draw - 1 point to Scunny and 1 point to Glasgow (plus a bonus point anyway). I'd agree with you if it was to make a draw into a 3 point win like in previous seasons. But this season it's only 2 points and potentially another point for home/away aggregate win. Seems not a bad way to do it, Scunny get a point for the draw. Glasgow a bonus point for the super heat. Though I agree it's pants if you're on the wrong end of a super heat win - I'd prob tell them to stick their league point, lol. 😂
