The one main ingredient that JC failed to mention was someone to implement it all. Young Chapman is obviously not the only PR guy around but he has never been replaced. Maybe there are not the funds available to support someone at both the Speedway and the Football on a full time basis, but you only have to take a look at the Football to see what happens when no marketing budget is out behind a business. I have no idea what numbers have been like at Saddlebow over the same period, as where numbers are concerned Speedway never makes anything official... Why is that ? As for news coming out of the Club during the off season I think fans should expect more news than we currently get. After all Phil Rising sells a weekly mag throughout the winter when no speedway is taking place in the UK

As I understand it, Its not just at Saddlebow that JC is being Missed. Buster also owns the local Football Club and there average numbers have dipped alarmingly. Again he has never been fully replaced there either.

It does seem rather strange that even the son of the owner of Kings Lynn thought there was announcement coming at 7.45 last night. Then again he could have always picked up the phone and asked. ( then again maybe not) With no new signing yet, why could they not have made an annoucement at 7.45 last night, and said something along the lines we haqve identified our number target and talks are ongoing etc etc... or if nothing was in the pipeline, let the fans know. fans like to be kept in the loop, even if there is nothing concrete to report. Since JC left the PR at the club as been poor, to say the least. He has never been replaced. Maybe Buster felt there was no need for him in the first place. Its Buster business and Im sure he knows what is best. It just seems when JC was onboard the Club had a real feel good factor about it, that has gone downhill ever since.

With the state of Speedway in this country how dare the fans question the Promotors of the Sport as they all should hold their heads up high and say 'hey, Look at the Job we have done'. (yeah right !) I wonder what the Top Promotions of yester year would make of the Incompetence we are having to witness these days. Jon Cook has plenty to be proud of, I think Not, and he calls the fans. The words pot kettle and black spring to mind.

In fairness Screamer Buster is doing the job that JC started, what some 10 years ago ?

Maybe 'Don' Buster could make you an offer you wouldn't refuse.😀 When you were involved at Saddlebow the place had a buzz about it. Always fresh, new ideas being tried. The kids loved the theme nights like 'Cowboys' Shame that perhaps The old school boys at the BSPA never fully embraced what you were trying to do with things like the Super Se7en etc

Good to see still showing an interest. Many fans at Saddlebow and indeed The Walks have said your marketing skills have been missed. Only have to look at the crowds at the Football these days. No chance of seeing you back in the fold anytime soon ?

The fans of the Sport should know by now that Speedway Promotors are all knowing and always get it right. After all You only need to take one look at the state of the Sport in the country to see that.

Trees, You know, I thought that. Maybe NKI will have a change of heart and take back his race Jacket. After all he did say if Lynn were in trouble he would help out. Anyway you dont you have to speculate to accumulate.

I really hope we have a stellar signing coming in to fill the No 1 race jacket. I just have a feeling we are in for an almighty let down. Things have reached a pretty low level when the fans are meant to get excited about Troy Batchelor being the Number one. Lets be fair with all the Number One's we have enjoyed at Saddlebow Road, Troy is not really in that League.

With a massive shortage of heat leaders now not available or willing to ride in the UK what on earth is going to happen when inevitable injuries come along ? With only riders who are willing to come to this Country who will only ride for Poole it could get very messy

With all these entertaining riders we are going to enjoy at Lynn I hope Buster is going to come up a track befitting their skills. It certainly hasn't be available very often in the past couple of years

Rory Schlein just been on Radio Norfolk. He hasn't been given the all clear to start riding yet. I'm sure Buster will have a back up plan if Rory doesn't get the thumbs up

Sorry Speedy, I didnt mean On the Heat leader I meant on Buster's hit list. With Bjarne average of around 6.5 that would leave Lynn around 1.5 to 2 points short of the Limit. Cannot believe Buster wouldnt use the full amount available.
