THJ riding in UK in 2019 ?
Col replied to racers and royals's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think he's worth a punt on 4.7(ish) average at reserve or #2. -
Andersen has signed for Panthers so my theory is blown. King, Nicholls & Schlien would leave 29.33 for the final 4 riders I believe.
-
King, Nicholls, Schlien, Andersen. What left after Dad's army are signed?
-
You don't enjoy watching Klindt's amazing racing skills & wholehearted gutsy performances weekly? What's wrong with you?
-
Woryna would be a better signing than Klindt on a similar average. Klindts confidence will be shot mid July after his return to the Elitserien racing. J Holder, Woryna, B Kurtz, Covatti, Jakobsen & Grajczonek - whats left out of 42.5?
-
If fit enough, I'd imagine Bewley would be rider in Polish Nice L1 most weekends.
-
Covatti would a good signing at reserve. Grajczonek is decent in middle order. Klindt & Woryna both had confidence boosting spells at reserve last year, starting on 6+ averages for 2019 Poole can't afford such a luxury. Wouldn't touch either. Even in the relatively weak British league, not sure Kurtz will ever make a #1.
-
All very dodgy in the East, must say. Lynn retain Lambert, Proctor & NKI. Boro sign Harris, J Holder & K Bjerre. Witches get Nicholls, King, Schlien & H Andersen (assuming Poole don't).
-
He stunk the place out?
-
If Wells is in with Thorsell it would leave 5.93 (6.09 with 2.5%) I believe. Richie Worrall, Kerr, Wright, Palm Toft, Wilson-Dean or Garrity seem to fit from the riders with Premiership averages from 2018 meaning Howarth starts at reserve.
-
Totally dependent on Pawlicki I would suggest. If Thorsell is retained as expected, if Pawlicki is available there is no room for Wells, if Pawlicki decides he is only riding in Poland in 2019 (without an Elitserien berth) then I suspect Wolves will go with a Wells and a more balanced 1-7, Howarth at reserve which could leave them vulnerable in heats 13 & 15.
-
Oh, Final Green Sheets on BSPA site, how useful had been using their rolling averages.
-
I'm sure Thorsell (7.25) will be signed, so if Becker is 4.00 it would leave 11.53 for two riders. Add Piotr Pawlicki to that, if he's on his 2014 average of 7.32 it would leave 4.21, if Pawlicki re-assessed to 8.00 (or Schlien) it leaves 3.53.
-
Add Ricky Wells (5.43) to that team with one of Thorsell, Schlien or even Piotr Pawlicki (8.00 at the most) and if Wolves find a rider with an average between Wells & Howarth, Howarth starts at reserve. I guess they are waiting on a yes/no from Pawlicki.
-
This is Wolves thread, right? Not Belle Vue? Signed: Masters 8.11, Morris (6.74*0.975=) 6.58, Howarth (5.16*0.975=) 5.03 and Becker 4.00. Wolves have 18.78 left for 3 riders?
-
And probably very expensive.
-
Neither Thorsell nor Schlien are confirmed. Knowing how Wolves usually build their teams I'd be surprised if both were signed, Thorsell more likely in my opinion.
-
xxxxxxx = Pawlicki?
-
Howarth & Wells (if signed by Wolves) will improve their relatively poor starting averages I'm sure. As would Thorsell. Becker is going to be very hit & miss until he settles, having a familiar face around in Wells in the team can only help. Masters is a reasonable heatleader on a reasonable average. Still of an age where he can improve. Reasonable 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6. 5 is key. Assume 7 will be Morris or Greaves, which is OK, but not match winning.
-
I'd be less concerned by their cleanliness than their inability to turn up every week.
-
1. Sam Masters 8.11 2. Ricky Wells 5.77 3. A.N.Other 5.70 4. Jacob Thorssell 7.25 5. Piotr Pawlicki 7.32 6. Kyle Howarth 5.16 7. Nathan Greaves 3.19 Suggestions for rider 3 welcomed.

Wasn't Andy Smith British champion only having a Polish club for 3 years?
