Thanks. Looking at the arena seating plan, I'll see if I can get a ticket in section D20 unless someone suggests otherwise.

Agreed especially if their 1-5 allocation of Poles is taken by any two of the three they had last year - Kołodziej, Hampel and Piotr Pawlicki. Perhaps someone will come in for Kubera or he'll look for a move, he's too good to be playing second fiddle to Smektala. Drabik will be 21 in February 2019, does that mean he is still eligible?

I haven't seen a great deal of Madsen and I previously thought he was just a gater from watching how poor he was in previous years SWC's but having watched the SEC rounds, the Elitserien playoffs & a couple of Częstochowa meetings this year he is more than just a gater. I think it is likely he'll have to rely on his gating in the GP's as the top riders are so fast.

Michelson must have been young when he rode for Eastbourne if he is only 24 now, surprised Milik is 25 also. I couldn't be bothered to look at their respective DOB's last night.
-
Michelsen is surely older than Milik.

I thought that was covered, he decided to ride in the Best Pairs instead of the Danish GP qualifier. There is no way he would have gotten 'the nod' previously, no one let alone the FIM/BSI would have known Iversen would have qualified. Surely if the organisers thought they needed Danish participation had Iversen not qualified he'd have been the obvious choice. No one could have predicted the season Madsen has had, he had to rely on a pick to enter the SEC and we all know injuries can occur at any time. I do now wonder if Lindback & Madsen will pull out of the SEC having GP spots in 2019, like Laguta did last year. If so, where does that leave the SEC. If Sayfutdinov feels the same do Kildemand & Milik qualify as they finished 7th & 8th?

If you're Slovakian yes, if you're Danish no.

Its Vaculik, Zagar, Dudek & Madsen. Just seen it on Twitter.

Wow. Just wow. You're is correct English in that context. Pedersen was 3rd in Danish National Championship, where did Madsen finish? Pedersen won a GP. I don't even like Pedersen but it is difficult to make a case for Madsen over Pedersen. There is nothing between them in terms of their averages in Elitserien & Ekstraliga. But going on league averages both should qualify. That said Madsen only competed in the last few weeks in Elitserien, only called up by Vetlanda late on. Pedersen had to rely on a WC for 2018 GP qualification, but so did Madsen for SEC. I don't think either would finish top 8 if selected.

4. Nicki Pedersen - 13 - 65 - 148 - 2,277 5. Leon Madsen - 8 - 42 - 94 - 2,238

I had Pedersen down for one of the 4 WC's I think they'll hand out. See the second post of the topic. Make a case for Madsen over Pedersen... All things considered. I think it's a year too early for Lambert. He has his first year in Ekstraliga assuming he stays with Lublin, his final year of U21 & has qualified by right for the SEC. Krsko GP obviously makes money, would it if there was no full time Slovenian GP rider? That's why Zagar will get a WC.

Vaculik's win in Gorzow means I'm certain he'll get a Wild Card.
-
It is not difficult to make a case for Madsen, but it is difficult to make a case for Madsen over Pedersen. The fact Madsen didn't compete in the qualifying process doesn't help him either.

Zmarzlik always sounds like a cartoon chipmunk. Great meeting. Congrats to Woffinden. Glad Lindgren managed a World Championship podium, thought he'd miss out after the hand injury.

Dudek, Vaculik, Pedersen & Zagar.

Watched the recording last night, Dackarna were very poor. Only Hancock, Janowski, Berntzon & Kling seemed to have any fight in them. Eklof only looked assured when he gated & was clear. Congratulations to the Blacksmiths.

King's Lynn v Belle Vue; Play-Off. semi final 2nd leg

I thought the racing at Wimbourne Rd was better than at Saddlebow Rd last night, neither were brilliant. The meeting at Poole was more interesting because it was a closer. -

Averages are calculated - Points / Rides * 4. Yes, heat 15 rides are included in averages regardless of where anyone deems a rider should or shouldn't have been in heat 15. -

7 points from 6 rides! Equates to an average of 4.66, 5-1ed consecutively in heats 9 + 10, finishing 3rd ahead of his reserve partner. 2 valuable points they were. -

I don't know, I don't care. He overtook Klindt to win a heat & followed Covatti past Worrall. Other than that he was terrible.
