  1. Thank god for Oliver Berntzon, would have been allot more snoozy if he hadn't performed. But a more entertaining meeting than I'd expect from Vetlanda.
  2. Oliver Berntzon is named as Wildcard, Pontus Aspgren and Kim Nilsson as track reserves.
  3. Well I do live about 5 miles North-East of Monmore, but took the dogs for a walk in East Park which is right by Monmore after work. There was certainly not a spot of rain while I was there, a bit of a shower on the way home but then nothing until 22:00 when it did start hammering it down. I do understand why the club cancelled the fixture considering the forecast.
  4. That'll teach me, I was looking at the calendar for June not July.
  5. So the weather forecast for the west midlands is not looking brilliant this week, with a yellow weather warning in place. That said working in Wolverhampton City Centre and living just over 5 miles away I'm fairly convinced Wolves v P'boro could have gone ahead last night as heavy rain didn't hit us until after 21:30. Do we have any team news? I assume Bates won't be on the Lions team sheet following his recent absences through injury.
  6. Still dry, there is no way this meeting couldn't have been completed.
  7. Polish to English automatic browser translation. Some are interesting. Speedway is sometimes Slag, Torun is sometimes Track & Ulamek is also different, I forget what.
  8. We may have had what could just about be classified as a shower in Wolverhampton shortly before 18:00 but it didn't last long & nowhere near enough rain fell for the meeting to have been called off.
  9. I'm telling Donald Trump, your policy is almost racist. Dudek £80 more Doyle £80 more Laguta £20 more Lindgren £20 less
  10. Dudek £184 more Doyle £150 more Laguta £50 more Lindgren $50 less.
  11. Could have been worse, he could have been drawn at Glasgow. The quality of that field was in my opinion far higher than the others.
  12. Przedpełski & Pavlic? But he only needs 3rd to tie for top spot. Heat 19 will decide allot. Expect Bjerre to win heat 18 comfortably.
  13. After 4 rides. 1 Martin Smolinski - 3 - 3 - 3 - 3 = 12 2 Aleksandr Lokoksiev - 3 - 1 - 3 - 3 = 10 3 Kenneth Bjerre - 3 - 3 - 2 - 2 = 10 4 Paweł Przedpełski - 3 - 3 - 3 - 0 = 9 5 Timo Lahti - 2 - 3 - 1 - 3 = 9 6 Jurica Pavlic - 1 - 2 - 2 - 3 = 8 7 Linus Sundstroem - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 = 8 Milik & Wright no longer in contention, both failed to score in their fourth rides. Edit, sorry Milik finished 3rd in his 4th ride, but still not in contention despite a rather easy looking heat 17.
  14. After 3 rides each in Abensberg 1 Paweł Przedpełski - 3 - 3 - 3 = 9 2 Martin Smolinski - 3 - 3 - 3 = 9 3 Kenneth Bjerre - 3 - 3 - 2 = 8 4 Aleksandr Lokoksiev - 3 - 1 - 3 = 7 5 Timo Lahti - 2 - 3 - 1 = 6 6 Linus Sundstroem - 2 - 2 - 2 = 6 7 Vaclav Milik - 2 - 0 - 3 = 5 8 Jurica Pavlic - 1 - 2 - 2 = 5 9 Charles Wright - 1 - 1 - 2 = 4
  15. Still bright sunshine in the city centre but the city has just issued a "Yellow" weather warning from today until Thursday.
  16. Fairly sure Dudek & Janowski will be in the GP's in 2020 regardless, Dudek along with Madsen & Vaculik look the most likely to challenge Zmarzlik now Woffinden is ruled out of Prague & Hallstavik. Janowski will get a wild card if he doesn't hit top 8. The Pawlicki brothers should really have been selected above Przedpelski and Niedzwiedz. You could argue a case for Drabik & Kołodziej also. But I wouldn't be upset if there are only 3 Poles in the GP's next year!
