Lindgen, yes. Best value #1 in the league on that average. Not Howarth. Who should have been the best reserve in the league last year. But wasn't. Not Skornicki. Who hasn't sat o a bike for 2 years. Masters or Throsell, yes, but not both. Clegg, yes. as a #7 not a #6. Greaves, no. But I hope he proves me wrong. Because Wolves 3rd signing after Lindgren & Clegg should have been Klindt. Manzares meant Klindt started the season at reserve, since Manzares was 0.01 higher averaged. Wolves should have given Manzares as long as it took for the first averages to come out to prove himself. If he hadn't before Klindt moved into the main body and before Manzares got a new average they could have re-declared.

I was fairly bemused by the Holder news today. Didn;t he decide to stop riding in Britain for Poole to concentrate on the GP's one year?
-
Utter drivel. I could put a team together for Leicester that would finish higher than Wolves & Coventry from riders currently not employed by a Premiership team.

Never visited Kings Lynn, from what I have seen on Sky, it is better than average track but I wouldn't take that as a true reflection of racing. As much as riders need a track to be prepared in a manner so racing is good the attitude of the riders is just as important. The Stars team has been blessed with Lambert & Iversen for all most all of the Sky EL matches I've ever watched, two never say die racers. Other than that they hosted an SWC event, when most riders generally perform at their optimum.

His scores didn't win the league for Wolves, his presence had a huge assist. Pretty appalling considering what you should have signed! Not that bad. Kings Lynn & Rye House are better.

I've been to Wimborne Rd twice, both meetings were forgettable. P'boro in 2012 and Lakeside in 2016. Their have been some exceptional races on the track on Sky, notably during the SWC whenever they hosted it (2004?) and Harris's superhuman play-offs. But this is a Kings Lynn thread, so lets get back to matters at Saddlebow Road.

The most iconic team in the UK is Belle Vue, if the BSPA allow that club to die it is very bad news. The only reasonable stadium British Speedway had available to it after the loss of Speedway at Odsall was Brandon, if the BSPA don't get involved in sorting that mess I would be very surprised. At least Leicester Lions will run in 2017, which is something we can be thankful for.
-
And you attract more fans than 1900 for most meetings? Your management thought they could attract nearly 2000 fans to every home meeting. Most Speedway venues would struggle accommodate that many fans. Well, yes.
-
Been twice while holidaying in the area. V Peterborough 2012 and Lakeside 2016. Both utterly pass less.

Newman is not starting the year at reserve, the local lad made good will have to strut his stuff for 6 meetings in the main body, before Klindt overtakes him in the averages, when Poole will bin him for someone better on a lower average. So rejoice Poole fans, Newman can stay at reserve from April onward. If he doesn't ride too well to overtake Kurtz or Holder.

Who can say, Woffinden was far from unbeatable during the play-offs or previous meetings. But the change seemed to inspire Wolves, give them more belief. Lindgren's form certainly picked up once Woffinden was reintroduced. He had had a very bad previous month. Let's not forget that Thorsell & Masters were pretty useless away from Monmore in the final. PK was Wolves standout performer that night aside from Lindgren, not Woffinden.

Slick gating paradise every-time I have visited. Most recent Lakeside's visit this year, when you all got excited as Kurtz overtook a Lakeside reserve when he drifted too wide. Brilliant stuff.
-
In shock quote frankly, awful team considering what CVS & Adams should have signed. Clegg should have been the best #7 in league next year, but no, he is not going to be the best #6... Wolves were had on a plate the most average efficient #1 in Lindgren on 10.09 or whatever his average is. The Skornicki signing I can understand on that average in this league. But not with the what they had previously signed. Happy 5th Place for the Dogs.

Chris Holder Nicklas Porsing Troy Batchelor Lewis Rose Robert Lambert Kai Huckenbeck We are assuming that Simon Lambert will be in other rider, without checking averages if he fits? Have seen very little Porsing & Rose, I guess the hope is they can hold their own as second strings. Huckenbeck & S Lambert (if signed & fits) should be decent reserve duo, much better than most teams have. The hope must be that Holder isn't in average reduction mode, R Lambert steps ups to the next level he has been promising & Batchelor returns to form. I think I'd take that 1-7 over most named currently.
-
Not really, Wolves had already screwed up. Unfortunately predictable after the first four signings, must be depressing for you Monmore Speedway fans really. You could have denied Poole yet another league title, but you chose cheap, I hope Kings Lynn don't.
-
Hopefully enough to attain an average of just below 3.99 so you cut-throats can;t replace him with some Pole!
-
That Robson will improve more than Batchelor will? Err, no. If Batchelor can gate & go he will do fine, Robson has never gated and is starting average is higher. I would still however rather have Robson as the 5th averaging rider in my team than Batchelor as a heat leading 3rd averaging rider in my team. I had to take a break from the forum, it was doing my head in. If I have missed signings I apologise I am assuming Batchelor will be behind R. Lambert & C. Holder in the KL line up. With Huckenbeck, Porsing & S. Lambert??

The Wolves team is better than the Swindon team, hands down. It is still rubbish compared to what Wolves should have signed.
-
None of the establish promotions have yet to sign Fricke or Bewley, and except for Kings Lynn most have already shown their hand, and they seem to be inclined in reducing Holders average so the cut throats benefit in 2018. I suspect both will be on the cards for the BSPAces@NSSManchester Cooke ... Worrall Worrall Fricke Bewley ...

So how do people feel about a team of... Tungate Wright Hougaard Starke Grajczonek Allen Graveson To me it looks like a team that will have few 0's on the scorecard, but towards the end of meetings will find it difficult to get heat advantages. I don't know much about any of these riders since I haven't attended a meeting that wasn't a GP, SWC or at Brandon, Poole or the NSS for a few years. I have watched every meeting available on TV tough. I don't think there is much improvement in Hougaard or Grajczonek but both are experienced enough to hold their own. I don't see Wright or Graveson being match winners either, but again they should hold be solid. Tungate & Allen, need to have a good year if the Rebels are to make the play-offs.
-
Please stop including Zagar in plans, BV couldn't afford him last year. With massive debts it would be a mistake in 2017, he wasn't exactly the dominant #1 he should be anyway.
-
That Somerset team will do OK, they should be good at home. They have a chance of winning away at Belle Vue & Swndon, they wont get pulverised at Poole or Coventry, where some teams will. They will get pulverised at Rye House & Wolves, if CVS picks the right team. At Saddlebow Rd, I'm not sure.
-
According to Twitter you are getting C Holder in average reduction mode. Please don't.
-
No. We need to mock your club further for not winning the first ever Premiership. Sorry.
