So Starke has replaced Neilsen?

How come no Neilsen & the two Poles are at reserve?

Rye House Vs Kings Lynn Stars Mon 28/ 05/2018
Col replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Of the 4 meetings this evening only one has the away #1 missing, so why televise it? Kasprzak can't be bothered so it might remain vaguely close. Doyle's return to Blunsdon is surely where the TV cameras should be? -

Not read all of what has been posted. Thought Lindgren's move in the final was tough but there was no need for Woffinden to retire. Thought both semi final referee decisions were correct. Pedersen realised he was beat, laid the bike down in hope rather than expectation. Janowski tried to turn back inside Sayfutdinov, but there wasn't room so he hit the Russian's back wheel. -
Sheffield v Workington SGBCL 24/5/18 @ 19.30
Col replied to Blackadder's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Surely putting Proctor at 5 & Klindt at 3 would make Workington much stronger? -
Has anyone answered this? I'm not local but there is a train station fairly close. Belle Vue is the name of the train station. I assume there is a train station at Manchester airport since it's the biggest in England outside London, but it is a fair way south of the city. Google says it's 50-60 minutes by train going via the city centre train station. Again I've never used the city centre train station and these can be confusing.

Poole v Wolves Premiership A. 23/5/18
Col replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Think Poole were expecting too much from the returning Poles. I hadn't ecpected Woryna to be scoring so few points. Guess his good equipment is on the continent, using 2016 lawnmower when in Pirates blue. -
And Speedway team managers have never found a way to bend the rules, ever....

Bewley maybe a better option at NSS than Lambert & Cook! Teams for event 1 have been announced, Russia to win it from the Danes with the Germans sneaking third.

Nah. I saw Kelly Morans Swindon debut at Cradley in the early 90's. -

Not sure he can give King, Cook, either Worrall or Nicholls that much of a head start. -

Not if he gates like he did in his first three rides. -

There seemed a fair few people on the backstraight, crowd in the main stand were all cramped into the middle it appeared. Couple of grear races. Bewley breezing past Batchelor outside & in was impressive but Musielak v Tungate was the best race. Well done both teams. -

Terrible dusty track. Terrible spectacle. Gave up after 9 heats. -
Swedish Elitserien round 1, 8 May 2018
Col replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
Haven't really seen which team signed which riders over the winter. Looking at tonight's lineups. Rospiggarna are walking the title injuries permitting, Lejonen you can stick a fork in now. -
Unconvinced on that. Shanes got what 4 meetings this season. Will Neilsen get as many.
-
Glad Lambert's form meant the return of brattish Batchelor to Saddlebow Rd was fruitless.

When will all these maximum hauls from Schlien see him replaced by Lindgren? -

Has barely been any rain in Wolverhampton over the weekend, none so far today that I have seen. Can't see weather being an issue unless a severe storm appears between now & tapes up. That said if you are going wear layers, the wind all weekend has had a chilling effect. -

Not knocking Joe Screen, but he never reached the heights I expected when I first saw him ride. -

Really? I remember a 16 year old Joe Screen visiting Dudley Wood & Monmore a few weeks after his 16th Birthday. The sport has moved on from then admittedly, in terms of professionalism and I haven't seen much of Bewley. Then again, what ultimately became of Joe Screen? -

NKI was poor at the Belle Vue 90th Anniversary meeting but bike gremlins were part of that & he won his last ride (beating Doyle if I remember correctly), much improved the following day at Sheffield for the Simon Stead farewell meeting. -

Looking at the end of 2017 season averages. Huckenbeck would. As would Gomolski. -

Thanks for the press conference video, I particularly enjoyed the way Kildemand avoided answering the question of his availability for the rest of the year.
