  1. Lindgren spent last season (all of it) with Västervik in Elitserien. Didn't he? Think he may have missed the start of one league season (2022 perhaps) in his long career but finished that season missing only the opening 6 fixtures? Lindgren was in his day nighe unbeatable around Monmore, with PB as home track, it's a risk.
  2. Lindgren hasn't ridden in Britain for years, why would he do so once Monmore closed? Not sure he'd maintain a 9 3 average anyway. But zi guess he's a #1. Never rated Wiktor Lampart, was a very good 16 year old but hasn't really progressed in 5 years, easily bullied, tentative when in traffic. Too lightweight.
  3. I think the team building start for the Stars is decent. NKI has all the experience you want & Musielak is a #1. Basso should sky rocket and MPT is solid but coming off two poor seasons. Think KL needs a good second heat leader to keep pressure off the Danes Not sure Tarasenko fits that if he is pencilled in as next signing. Two 6.5ish riders completing the line up hangs Musielak out to dry in 13 & 15. Unlikely as it maybe what's Robert Lamberts average.
  4. Add Sayfutdinov & King to the three announced signings & Ipswich can't have much left can they?
  5. Makes sense, Wright appeared to thoroughly enjoy the Cowley shale at the Championship Pairs.
  6. Zagar can't surely be signed as a #1, I doubt he'd maintain his average attained in 2022 if the NSS isn't is home track. As third heater, he wouldn't be a disastrous signing I wouldn't imagine. At 3 & 4 alongside Brennan I could see them holding their own.
  7. I can't imagine that happening, he has in the past refused to ride Perry Barr until every molecule of shale has been scraped off it.
  8. Brennan wasn't an RS last season so won't be in the coming season.
  9. So let's be having it... Harris, Douglas, Becker, Shlien, Ellis... leaves what points limit wise?
  10. The two times I ventured to Cowley last season were by far the biggest two crowds I had witnessed in domestic British speedway since the 90's. But 3 leagues seems too much.
  11. Maksym Drabik, stays at Częstochowa. Emil Sajfutdinow staying with Torun for 2024 & 2025.
  12. Without knowing any of the young Poles, the Grudziadz top 4 look stronger than their FZG counterparts. You'd think they're probably going to the two teams battling relegation?
  13. No stopping FZG today... Jan Kvech, Przemysław Pawlicki, Rasmus Jensen and Michał Curzytko.
  14. Congratulations Tigers. Sayfutdinov struggled with conditions early & Doyle wasn't brave enough at the end. Pickering is entertainment.
  15. No Huchenbeck and Lebedevs are not as talented on a Speedway bike as Janowski . Jurys out on Kubera. But I think being out the GP's for a season may give Janowski the kick up the proverbial he needs. No one will remember how many followers you have on Social Media, having a World Championship puts a rider in the history books
  16. By finishing 5th in the GP Challenge? Thought if riders qualified through finishing top 6 (Vaculik & Lambert) the GP challenge qualification didn't filter down beyond the top 3. I don't think current GP riders should be allowed in the challenge. Correct. Competed in no 2012 GP's, scored 2 points in one appearance in 2011. Still think Kołodziej is ignored every year, always right near the top of the Ekstraliga averages. Janowski has been appalling this year, glad he's not been picked.
  17. I asked this last week, but may have got lost mid meeting. Question for Oxford fans. In the Joey Beauchamp bar there are two photos from the 80's. One is Hans Nielsen, Jimmy Nilsen & Troy Butler who is the other Robin. The other is assume a Sheffield rider leading Andy Grahame. Who is the rider in the Tigers race jacket. Is that Kelly Moran?
  18. Eh, I quite enjoyed that, generally don't enjoy the racing at Monmore but went as it was the last league match. Wolves were generally poor, S Worrall started well but tailed off. Becker, Masters & Douglas started slow but did enough. Cook, Schlein Flint I expected more from. Leicester had Fricke who was outstanding & Kemp who did a job, but did throw points away. Kerr rode well, Sedgeman & Allen were largely anonymous. Lawson was excluded on grounds I didn't believe existed started well but faded but then got the job done in the super heat Who'm I missing... oh R Worrall, did better than I expected but shouldn't have gifted passing opportunities to the Wolves duo in heat 14.
  19. No topic for the last league match at Monmore Green? For that reason I'm going tonight for the first time since PK's farewell. Not expecting the Lions to put up much of a fight TBH sadly.
  20. U21 World title about 2005. Some Czech rider who rode for Redcar & Poole lost the ballot I think. Tomas Suchanek... rings a bell. Was hopeless on these shores. Just got home, enjoyed the racing later on. Peterborough err Glasgow deserved to win. Only pair that rude as a team all night Wright was very good but he left King in the final chasing the win after they were both well in front of Harris King refused to move off the white line all night. Batchelor didn't try, Lawson didn't in his first two rides. Howarth was poor.
