  1. Wright doesn't ride in Poland regularly, Worrall does. That said Harris isn't a Polish League regular these days. Guess he's included due to his experience.
  2. That was fairly turgid viewing on the TV. Hope it was better in Owlerton. May as well declare the league done & dusted. Aces, Leicester, Wolves & Tigers in PO. Ross was awful, never looked like scoring. Didn't he win the PLRC (whatever it was then called) at Owlerton a few years ago? King & Doyle couldn't back Sayfutdinov up enough. Rew did OK, but needed to win heat 8.
  3. Worrall in white, Polis in Red. Polis seems to be the instigator to me.
  4. I'm a few miles directly North and it is hammering it down here.
  5. That's translated from https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/ Worrall finish 2nd, Polis 3rd.
  6. Forecast isn't great for today according to Met Office but it is due to stop raining at 19:00.
  7. Looks like a stronger septet to me with experienced riders replacing inexperienced riders. So it's... Morris, Starke, Nielsen, Batchelor, Sedgeman, Bowtell, Hagon?
  8. After seeing him last week I'd put Richie Worrall @#5
  9. Kings Lynn are not much better. If people won't show up for Sayfutdinov then they're not Speedway fans. But as it is televised you won't be getting many travelling fans.
  10. Having sung the praises of the M6 between Manchester & Cannock on the Leicester hosted Prem Pairs thread it bit me on the ass big time tonight! Meeting done & dusted early for the flat track & female rider demo. In car by 21:15, thought great I'll be home by 22:30. Nah! M6 rubbish J17-J16 & A449 from Shugborough. Marvelous. #hatehighwaysagency Still better than M6 through Brum. Absolute drubbing for Wolves, score probably would have been bigger but a few Aces (Bewley, Lidsey & Wright) struggled in their opening rides. Toss up between Kurtz & Blodorn for top performer. Bewley picking his way through traffic in heat 15 probably the highlight. Kurtz blasting around Worrall on the final bend after making up about 20 metres in 2 laps close behind. Smith's paid win however got the biggest applause. Masters aside Wolves were not at the races and even their captain struggled in the middle of the meeting.. Aggregate bonus should be secured with that result. But if it isn't leaving not replacing Smith with Brennan in heat 12 could be costly.
  11. Weather forecast according to the Met Office is looking better now than it was yesterday, majority of rain should be over by early afternoon with only a small chance of showers after 14:00.
  12. I think a blind person could offer the Eurosport Speedway editor advice on which camera to show. Why show the rider 40 metres in the lead when you could "throw an Army blanket" over the other three Completely clueless.
  13. I rarely have any problems on the M6 from Cannock to Altrincham (A556 junction) getting to or from Belle Vue. The M6 through Walsall & Birmingham is just awful, permanently, even on a Sunday when we often go to Coventry Blaze it can be awful. The biggest problem getting home from Belle Vue on a night is if the meeting ends 21:45 or later because the M56 is often shut at 22:00 and A roads to Altrincham are not fun. There was an awful lot of tractoring, before the semi I think the entire stadium erupted when the tractor finally left the track. Track was certainly not as good as when the Aces visited a few weeks ago.
  14. Just got home. The M6 was absolutely appalling. #viaCoalvilleNextTime I thought it would be decided between the two Premiership Northern Clubs ... and it was.but in the semi. Not sure Musielak was ever really comfortable with the track though. Fair play to Richie Worrall he was the best rider on track tonight (with Klindt a close 2nd) but Panthers never had a hope in the final. Cook was always coming last against Aces & Tigers pairings. Jorgensen was awful.. never looked like scoring. Riss & Masters were not much better. Steve Worrall rode well & was involved in probably the best two races being overhaled by his brother & Holder. Fair play to Kemp did well for an RS bet Leicester wish they'd chosen Harris or Lawson rather than Sedgeman now. He was poor. Racing wasn't as good as Aces visit a few weeks ago and neither were the two Lions riders. Dude on microphone said it was slicker than normal. It suited Kurtz better (eventually) once Bewley allowed him the outside gate. Fricke wasn't as spectacularly awesome as Belle Vue's humbling either .
  15. Met Office forecast for Leicester is dry from 5 am.
  16. Thought Holta took up Polish citizenship once his GP career was over. Is there a run off for first & third at Swedish final tonight or is this one round of several?
  17. Ellis is 2nd in Polish League 2 averages, way ahead of any other Brit. As he's at Sheffield with Stead you'd think that gives him the advantage. The only Brit to have attained an average in Polish League 1 is Brennan. Would think Lawson or Harris are the only other two viable options. Massive gap from the 3 GP Brits to the rest though sadly. With the SWC being held at Wroclaw which is Woffinden & Bewley's home track you could make a case for GB being favourites. Zmarzlik & Janowski (Wroclaw home track but not in form) are nailed on for Poland but no idea which other riders the Polish Manager will go for. If Pedersen picks himself with the 3 GP Dates They could be considered favourites also. Iversen, Jensen as 5th. Does one rider have to be U21. Aussies also won't be far off, 3 GP riders plus Lidsey. Swedes unlikely to make the final you'd think.
  18. So.... Kurtz & Bewley. Sedgman & Fricke. King & Riss. Klindt & Jorgensen. Masters & S Worrall. R Worrall & Tarasenko, Holder & Musielak.
  19. I quite enjoyed that. Only Bewley seemed to make the outside work when behind oddly, but he is a class above any other rider on show tonight these days. I assume that was an off night for Iversen & Basso? Wright & Kurtz came good at the end as did Rew for the Aces. Brennan also did well. Is Richie Worrall always that bad at the EoESg?
  20. That was fairly painful viewing the odd clips that Eurosport showed.
  21. I was going to go until I realised it was on EuroSport. The 22:00 meeting end means half the bloody motorways will be shut due to roadworks on the way back and I'd not get home until well after midnight. I'll go to Leicester on Thursday instead.
