Threat To The Elite League
Phil The Ace replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
1 large PL would worry me. Personally I would be fine with it. I love the PL racing. But there are alot of people I know and see on social media etc that are EL snobs. The EL clubs fans will half at most. -

But try explaining to any newcomers that Ben Barker as signed for Ipswich but he is guesting for Plymouth even though lakeside are riding. Just looks so stupid. The kerr missing is acceptable as he was always missing. Clubs should not have announced the changes yet. All you lot involved with speedway ain't got a clue. Your killing this beautiful sport of ours with agreeing to daft rules etc etc. -
Belle Vue V Lakeside 4/6/16
Phil The Ace replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The club has set up a purchase and collection point for customers of the National Speedway Stadiums South Terrace area, adjacent to the South Turnstiles just off Pink Bank Lane. The purchase and collection point for customers of the Main Grandstand and West Terraces will remain in situ adjacent to the ticket office on Kirkmanshulme Lane. We would again advise all customers to plan their journey well in advance tonight owing to the nearby Coldplay concert at the Etihad Stadium which kicks off from 4pm. -

No. Don't he think he has been to view the place yet -
So barker replaces Kerr at Ipswich yet Ryan Douglas guests for Ipswich instead of Kerr tonight . How on earth can u replace someone who no longer rides for the club and what makes it even more bizarre is barker is guesting for Plymouth . Baffled by these rules in speedway they never make any sense .

He as sacked ash Holloway and getting new stuff sorted. Unsure what engines/engine tuner he is using now. But Deffo not on ash-tech ones. He has been practicing and testing at belle vue this week. The ash-tech engines were brilliant at start of meetings when track was grippy but as soon as the track went slick all he did was spin. That's why you saw scores like 3,3,1,1. Him and ash couldn't find a set up that worked on slick tracks. -

Belle Vue V Coventry 30th May, 2016
Phil The Ace replied to Aces51's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The queue was to do with sheer numbers of ppl tho. It was a packed stadium. My Mrs works on the ticket office. They printed of a massive bulk of tickets to prevent them from having to go on system and pick a certain seat. For me the main problem is that there is 1 line for the 3 ticket windows. If they were queued in lines of 3 then it wouldn't seem bad. Management came on mic and apologised for the queues and said they will work at it so that next time there is less queues. We won't have this problem for WC as every ticket is pre ordered I think. The queues were in for 12:15 but racing dIddnt start till 12:25 -

Just back home from today's awesome belle vue v Coventry meeting. And what a fantastic hard fought victory that was. Both teams gave 110% resulting in some of the best racing around. And this after just 2 EL meetings. A massive well done to those who designed the track. The world cup is going to be fantastic. It was also my first experience out of the grandstand as I got myself a West terrace ticket today (1st bend) and I shan't be moving anytime soon. What a place to watch your speedway. Oh and BTW all you moaning at big queues. That is the norm on a bank holiday meeting. Was the same at the dog track. Swindon and Poole today was also delayed. The racing was superb. Belle vue won and that is all that matters surely. I had a great day. But very sun burnt some how. -

I've only ever been in the grandstand and that is great viewing. But where ever u go the viewing is remarkable. I'm trying West terrace today which is 1st bend. That view looks superb and it's next to the pits. -
