  1. Someone asked me on either Twitter or Facebook why do I bother. My answer. Because I love belle vue.
  2. I won't be making heat 1 or 2 and maybe a few more
  3. Assume they diddnt know they couldn't have a change for a genuine injured rider. I saw no problem with tai last year, lindback for hans was a bit suspicious but it diddnt help in the end anyway. So the transfer deadline is A good thing but whoever decided you couldn't change an GENUINE injured rider after the cut off needs shooting. Incidently there was a meeting on Tuesday st rugby about this matter and all but Ford voted to keep the rule, a few hours later and I bet lemon would have changed his vote
  4. Yep. Just gets worse. Us and swindon shafted
  5. Never thought it was gonna be that serious. Neither did he. .shame for him and us
  6. https://youtu.be/C7PHDl9UUxY Heat 14 from Monday
  7. And if we did open it up and we had teams like the polish league do then do you think we would get increased crowds at £18 speedway. I don't think we will
  8. Just battered and bruised by all accounts thankfully Just battered and bruised by all accounts thankfully
  9. Meeting off already. Well done both clubs. A long way for us to travel for a rain off
  10. I love how I just sit here thinking what new strange way can we make team building different and maybe improving teams by getting rid of averages. Let's do a draft with every rider involved. Not just reserves like they did a few years ago. Get a big long list of riders from near and far who want to ride over here in top league. Then sort them all out into group 1 riders (no1s), group 2 riders (2nd HL), and so on and so on. This means only riders who want to ride here and give our league 100% commitment otherwise you sign some riders who are just here for the money because they have had the carrot dangled in front of them. So there is 7 groups of riders. Team that finished bottom gets first pick for no1s and work your way through to the winners getting last pick, then the winners get 1st pick of the 1st reserve and so on and so on. Won't work I know. But how fun would it be. It could be live streamed. £5 viewing fee. Easy money. But somehow work out a way where a team can bypass a draft pick but only to pick a rider that's an asset to the club. Also introduce a salary cap, so group 1 riders are paid same points money, same with group 2 riders and so on. Heads gone but I love it
  11. Yep. Presentation just keeps getting better. Meetings are always run very smoothly. Good times to be an aces fan. Tungate has started to show his NSS form. Gating passing, the guy as been a great signing. Bjerre this year as turned Into a new bjerre, who ever calls him boring haven't seen him this year then, passing galore, and not just that but being very forceful and hard on his opponents. He doesn't know when he's beaten. Fricke is getting better every week, he was so fast last night. Untouchable. And he's still only 21 which I think people forget. Smith rode his backside off for 0 points. His effort in heat 14 was all there to see but unfortunately he was pipped on the line. It's hard trying to attack and defend at same time. That's how close the 3 riders were. And last but not least our little pocket rocket dynamite daniel bewley, what a talent this guy is, he's so quick around the boards, so smooth but last night in heat 14 the speed he was getting of the inside of bend 4 was unbeleivable. It looked like he was scrubbing his speed right off to always cut back of bend 4 but in fact his bike was shooting down the home straight. How is it possible. He's improving every week. For Poole hans looked slow but scored ok, shanes was good and lahti was good tbh, holder struggled and Kennett had one of his better meetings away from home. He was unlucky in heat 14. He was just beat by a special ride from tungate and bewley. Starke was poor. He's usually good for a few points here to
  12. Poole v belle vue looks like it could be an early rain off. So maybe bewley and Smith will ride
  13. It was bigger than normal I think. But not massively
  14. Yep. Worralls Mrs Annabelle gave birth to a baby girl at 19:26 this evening. Congrats to both
  15. He always seems to be a slow starter before getting better. Same again this year please rohan
  16. Very strange wording yes. Assume they mean final chapter of this year's quest to make play offs. Probably means 2 defeats and he thinks his title hopes are over for another year
  17. No, with fricke tungate and bewley around NSS. It's just as good if not better
  18. No weather problems here Cook and Smith been practicing all afternoon. Track looks great. Always a good one against poole. Can't wait No stevie tonight due to family emergency. R/R will operate
  19. I actually feel sorry for Chris, maybe a bit biased as he's one of my favourite riders but if he felt the track was unfit then so be it. We wouldn't want to ride an unfit track. On that night something was clearly wrong with the track as reports were riders were struggling. Maybe buster had a right to stand up to him. And he did so by giving him a 28 day ban. But then to tell him after the cut off that he's sacked to stop him signing on with someone else is a total low blow and shows buster for what he is.
