Well that's both my crump bets lost already! The others are all still on track though. eventually found my post! Yet more unnecessary editing from the mods...
-
Lots of smaller bets rather than a couple of big ones tonight. Try something different. 1 Nicki Pedersen Under 11 @ 11/8 2 Jason Crump Over 10 @ 10/11 3 Tomasz Gollob Under 9 @ 23/20 4 Chris Harris Over 5 @ 7/4 5 Jason Crump (v Nicki Pedersen) @ 11/10 6 Emil Saifutdinov (v Jaroslaw Hampel) @ 4/7 7 Rune Holta (v Chris Harris) @ 2/5 8 Magnus Zetterstroem (v Tai Woffinden) @ 2/5 And heat bets in play later on too
-
Won about the same as i lost on heat bets But the treble bet of Harris to outscore Woffinden, Bjerre to outscore Hans and Holta to outscore Zetterstrom won so nicely up again on the night. Liking this season so far
-
Looks interesting. Decent odds of just over 3/1 for it too, might have a bit on that myself. Have also had a pound e/w on bomber at 100/1 Will probably just do some heat bets tonight, i tend to find them more profitable for gps than betting at the start for some reason
-
I"d put emil as favourite for the win, although I haven't seen him ride this season so its difficult for the first gp. I agree with holta as an e/w outsider. Could be a good shout

You have to get through 7 races to win a gp too, so thats not just one race -

If thats the case, why do so many fans want to see a one off world championship return? -

We were saying the same thing 10 years ago down here. It has improved since then, but its definately still his weak point. Hopefully the tracks will be a bit better for the 'true racers' with the new man in charge... -

What is it with this site and people desperately trying to prove they are 'in the know' about things that they actually know sweet f.a about? What are you people trying to achieve? You'll just look even bigger idiots than you already do when the riders are announced and you are completely wrong There might be one person trying to tell us something they really do know, but there are so many others trying to make themselves look big and important that this one person will be grouped with them and ignored. This forum is nothing compared with a few years back -

Scott Nicholls

If you READ my post, i said that we finished 14 points behind 2nd last year, 4 this year. And the team in 2nd were the same both times. Denmark weren't mentioned. And even if they were, they scored plenty more than the 4th placed team last year. Try checking your facts before you jump into someone elses discussion -

We only scored less points because the opposition were stronger all round. Last year we were 14 points off qualifying, this year we were 4 off and in it right to the end -

Does the fact that it was WRITTEN not make it a quote from the article? And as fo the rest of your aguement, does that mean that we should still be picking the likes of Havelock? Teams should be picked on current form, not what someone has achieved in the past. No, then we will be back to where we were last year, instead of taking the step foward that we did this year -
The riders & clubs....AND the referee? Surely it should have been one side or the other

Sky - Live Sgp And Swc

Always put the programme after the meeting on record too, then if it over-runs the end of the meeting will be at the start of the next recording. Simples -
Its the future, I've seen it. The same thing happened to my sky+ recording. Luckily, having finished swearing, we went onto the live coverage and they were about 4 minutes off the restart so all we missed was the rubbish in the middle. Could have been much worse. **A good way to get around this problem, if you have enough space, is to record the programme AFTER the meeting too. Then the rest of the meeting is at the start of the next recording.**

The 'old school' coverage tonight has made me realise just how lucky we are to have the newer presenters like Charlie every week -

But surely if you are named captain of a squad, you should be there to captain them whether riding or not? Hans didnt ride last week but was still there. -

Because the whole point in tonight was to give the younger riders experience. Lee understood that and was there in the pits to help in any way they could. Meanwhile, Mr Ego was nowhere to be seen. I used to be a big supporter or Scott in the GPs, before bomber was there, but his attitude to a few things over the past 12months or so has been disgraceful -

Well said that bird What people think we would have achieved with Scotty and Lee in tonight i really dont know. We may have had a couple more points, but would still have finished 3rd -

Well 3 men can hold their heads very high in the pits tonight in my opinion. Danny King - Awesome. Fully justified his place and definately should be put ahead of Tai and Eddie in selection for the race off. Lee Richardson - Great to see such a positive attitude from someone that was effectively dropped from his national team for tonight. Rob Lyon - Went with the youth, and it definately paid off as far as i'm concerned. We wouldnt have beaten the top 2 anyway, but with expereince like this we stand a much better chance in future years. And i fully believe that this is the guy to lead us into these future years now. As for Scott Nicholls, Mr "captain", Mr "british number 1". Where were YOU for your country tonight?
