I've been having a good think about the current GP series, as to me it is really wrong that riders can no longer qualify. How are riders like Norris, Protasiewicz, Peter Karlsson, Loram and Holta ever going to get the chance of becoming a regular in the GP series? I know some riders have had their chance before, but if they are riding well why should a younger rider get the nod ahead of them? IMO the top 8 riders at the end of the series should retain their places. The national champions from Britain, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Australia, and USA should also be awarded a place. If a rider finishes in the top 8 and also wins their national championship the spare slot would go to a rider of BSIs choice. This leaves potentially 2 spare slots (if none of the national champions finish in the tip 8), one for the World U21 champ, and one wildcard. This way all of the riders in the series would be deserving of their place, and it would inject much needed interest into the British Championship. Also, the liklihood is that BSI would still be able to have some choice into which riders compete in each series. What do others think?

After a really slow start Hans surely has done enough to get into the semi-finals... Go Hans!!!

Surely that should have been a re-run with all four riders? Nicholls was clearly caught by Gollob? If Pedersen was given a second chance then so should Nicholls...

I wish that some Polish or Swedish fans had stood in front of me for the final - would've prevented me from having to go through the pain and torment of watching Hans slip from 2nd to 4th...

Well I had money on Crump, Scott and Nicki, and was hoping that Hans would make the final too, so I didn't do too badly I guess...

Hans, Nicki P and Crump though to the semis, Scotty out - 3 out of 4 isn't bad tho!!!

I agree, Matej Ferjan is the best Slovenian rider, simple as that...!
