There was a Peter Smith who rode three meetings for Newport in 1973, who I believe was a different person from Pete Smith who rode many years at Poole. Does anyone have any information on Peter please......was he English......when was he born etc ?

Yes, it was a 512 page, A5 sized publication which wasn't sold in the UK....luckily I have relations in Australia

He also represented Plymouth in one meeting during 1969.

Alan represented Canterbury in 1969 and 1970, but that's all I know about him. Does anyone have any further details please, like when and where he was born or what he's doing now ?

He also made a couple of appearances for Coatbridge in 1974, but not sure if they were before or after the Long Eaton meeting which you refer to :/
