I can't remember the location Andy, but I do seem to remember talk of an underground car park nearby.
Why would the costs of staging the meeting at the football stadium be exorbitant anyway - surely it wouldn't cost any more than Cardiff or Copenhagen to stage it there?
There was talk a while ago about BSI introducing the GP series to Paris and Monaco to name two. It's great news that Latvia has been added to the list, but does anyone know if any other venues are being explored?
A fitting tribute to Edward. I saw him race many times around Plough Lane and other tracks up and down the country.
Certainly one of the Polish legends and what a wonderful way to remember him.
Any idea how the two Brits qualify for the qualifiers?
IMO it should be the top two non-GP Brits in the British Final. That would add more interest to the meeting and seems the fairest way to do it.
I guess we've have to sit back and wait then, but I see Iris has posted on another thread the draw for the Under 21 SWC, so can we assume there has been some sort of FIM meeting today?
Maybe more news will emerge soon?
That date has already been alocated to Poland although the venue is still to be officially announced. The only date on the FIM calendar which coud be available to Latvia is September 23rd (unless I've missed something).
