  1. Yeah that's right - I'm sure you are correct HenryW.
  2. I can't remember the location Andy, but I do seem to remember talk of an underground car park nearby. Why would the costs of staging the meeting at the football stadium be exorbitant anyway - surely it wouldn't cost any more than Cardiff or Copenhagen to stage it there?
  3. There was talk a while ago about BSI introducing the GP series to Paris and Monaco to name two. It's great news that Latvia has been added to the list, but does anyone know if any other venues are being explored?
  4. A fitting tribute to Edward. I saw him race many times around Plough Lane and other tracks up and down the country. Certainly one of the Polish legends and what a wonderful way to remember him.
  5. Any idea how the two Brits qualify for the qualifiers? IMO it should be the top two non-GP Brits in the British Final. That would add more interest to the meeting and seems the fairest way to do it.
  6. Can we assume from that, that Hans Andersen has accepted BSI's invitation then?
  7. Someone who will be really pi$$ed off it the SWC is at Coventry.
  8. It was even cramped when Oxford were there. I wonder if anyone can shine any light on this though?
  9. Just out of interest - why do they only allow the public on the home straight at Monmore Green - is it a H&S thing?
  10. If it snows in Prague like it rains, you'll be up to your knees in it in an hour or two.
  11. Does that include the 8 minutes it takes to walk from the furthest room to the reception in the hotel?
  12. I guess we've have to sit back and wait then, but I see Iris has posted on another thread the draw for the Under 21 SWC, so can we assume there has been some sort of FIM meeting today? Maybe more news will emerge soon?
  13. I stand corrected then Subedei, but was working on the official press releases from BSI to date.
  14. That date has already been alocated to Poland although the venue is still to be officially announced. The only date on the FIM calendar which coud be available to Latvia is September 23rd (unless I've missed something).
  15. Maybe when the new stadium is built (and why not anyway?), but surely not in 2006.
  16. And the Communist Bar in Wroclaw must be a perfect example of that.
