  1. Not going to happen Shazz. Taken from speedway.world. Lee Richardson will ride in tonight's Speedway World Cup opener at Swindon against Denmark, the Czech Republic and Russia. Richardson was taken ill during Swindon's 55-39 Elite League defeat at Eastbourne last night. He believes he has a 24-hour stomach bug and has been unwell this morning too. "I don't feel great at all," said Richardson, "but I am going to give it a go - I have to really. "I was sick in the pits last night and I haven't been feeling well this morning. But I will be there and I will race." David Norris was on stand-by to replace Richardson, though the Eastbourne rider is not 100 per cent fit after making his return from injury in the win over Swindon.

  11. I don't think you can put it down to machinery, media attention, fitness or any other single factor. The fact is that Tony Rickardsson is the complete package, love him or hate him, you can't help admire him - the guy is a legend and probably the best rider the World has ever seen.
  12. Exeter 52-43 Weymouth Weymouth 52-44 Exeter Aggregate score - Exeter 96-95 Weymouth That's one you owe me Nevs.
  13. Jo, I think everyone is expecting Tricky to take the title then and there - A record equaling sixth title and arguably the best rider of all time on his home soil - You're right, it will be a night to remember.
  14. Ok thanks Rico - any chance of an update when it's all sorted?
  15. I had a feeling frigbo would come up trumps here.
  16. Swindon won the meeting 40-38, but I guess you knew that.
