Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
Trees replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
They tripped up in the hole didn't they it was so deep...... -
Surely it has? The majority of top boys want the big bucks of Poland and Sweden and that's what they are concentrating on .... I don't think we worry too much about them, who are they lol
-
They opened up the back straight years ago for a World Team Cup (I think), I remember Lee Richardson having a great night!

Years ago Trelawney had a great name as a race track, what was that like, I unfortunately never went to it??

Don't think he simply 'walked up to him' do you? The bloke with the flag walked into his path, how stupid was that? -
Great win last night #STARSPRIDE

Sounds time as though the Glasgow boys were wound up before the incident, there was obviously some shennagins before the parade and what exactly was said by Jon Cook and Martin Dugard? I can just imagine ..... tempers were clearly frayed! -
It seems the NSS can't be included in the poor racing category. Are you getting massive crowds in Manchester? 4-5k?
-
Why is the racing good in the NL, do they make lots of mistakes which makes the racing more exciting? Is it because they are still learning lines, bike set ups etc?
-
That's gonna be BWD's career, he's too daring imo, needs to calm down a tad to preserve his body!
-
I wouldn't mind but this 'tractor racing' is very important to keep tracks safe imo if they have any dirt on them at all. If we want no tractors going round then let's concrete the tracks .... I think all promoters should get a full compliment of track rakers in again too who can drag the shale away from the airfences so riders don't get into difficult in the deep stuff near the fences that the tractors can't access ....
-
And if there are so few riders, who would cover for injuries? And if we run on nights that suit our clubs, Friday/Saturday? surely that will rule out even more riders?
-
And they still do ......
-
I'd like to propose that before EVERY meeting each rider is allowed 4 laps of the track so when we get to heat 1 the riders will be able to use the whole track and not just the inside line ....
-
Surely some of the Peterborough riders are underperforming? You have lost your inspirational number one and guests have not top scored for you?

Hand on heart I do not get in free!!!!! Maybe you could see my running the supporters club as my constructive criticism of the club ..... But no, some of you just want me to be negative about every aspect! Buster is the latest custodian of our club, OUR CLUB, yes he makes the money (or not as the case may be) but the majority of our entrance goes to our team, the riders, the guys racing in Stars colours, they're the ones I go to support, always has been, always will, that's where MY ENTRANCE MONEY goes. You could say they are basically at the mercy of Buster and the track, they are skilled at racing their bikes and brave, too brave but hell, glad they are!! I stand there willing them to win, mad maybe but it's always been like that, I'm still passionate for our club. I'm just sorry some of you don't feel the same :(. That's the other great thing about the press conference/Q&A after the meeting, the riders give you a totally honest, human reflection of their night, if anyone who never goes in just does once they will enjoy I'm sure. Cookie's thoughts on the track and the different styles riders have was interesting, he wants less grip. Interestingly though 3 of the riders like the grip and MPT said he changed his style to get the best from the track, he said that he found it hard for starters but he's got used to it and effective he is too eh! The grip does give us home track advantage which every team needs ..... -

Of course it's because of the school holidays, that's obvious! Just saying re the 50/50 Why would I want to post negatives about the club, of course there's negatives but I've said on here til I'm blue in the face, red last night mind, that I enjoy supporting the club and I'm not gonna join the "club" on here that don't go anymore and are soooooo negative about every single element of Kings Lynn Speedway, the positives far outway the negatives for me personally ..... when they don't anymore will be my time to walk away and admit that I've moved on and speedway isn't my thing anymore ..... hope that day never comes! -

I thought it was a good crowd, the Supporters Club sold a record amount of 50/50 tickets, the kids got their goodie bags including whistles bought by the Supporters Club, the mascot was out on the terraces having pics with the kids etc. It's not all negative. The team who were not all 100% did the business on a boiling hot night, there wasn't a wisp of dust, funny how you can see the positives if you're looking for them ....
