well Poole Definitely can't how many times have you failed to complete the jubilee cup Don't think Oxford have failed to run a meeting yet
-
Yeah seem to remember everyones negativity about the team before we started last year, remind me how many meetings did we go unbeaten?
-
That's great to hear my friends lads 14 and doesn't get to go as much as he likes and always watches the live streams with me also, but as a brand obsessed 14 yr. old he's rarely not got his oxford shirt on absolute loves it. I think speedway as a has a bigger growing youth support basis than they realise I see the same kids week in week out at oxford all with there horns etc.

Should that now not be the full 12 months ban as 6 months of it was suspended?
-
I'd agree with that, Heeps was at best hit and miss this season yes he pulled a few vital points out of the bag but that only made up for all the 0's or 1's he'd managed at other meetings we can't keep baby sitting him I'd like to see Jordan back he gave nothing but his all on and off the track this season
-
Interesting that all of the meetings that weren't completed all involved Leicester but the opponent's were all different teams, including one From 2022! Think that might tell a story over Leicester's overall Management especially after Sunday's farce … Best wishes to Max Perry

conveniently both away teams are likely to be paying more per ticket hope there's an option to pay to watch either the 1st or 2nd meeting only
-
Its a difficult one with the new/rumoured Points limit, but id rather not have heeps back he got a 2nd chance this year and I wasn't overly impressed. as you say id be surprised to see Henry or Jordan going especially with the lower points limit which could see an improvement in strength.

Yeah its quite a joke really when they know he didn't get his slot due to Goatley asking the same question repeatedly in a different format (perhaps Goatface is worried he'll be bring the evidence that they haven't been provided with)

It appears to have started again but on tomorrow's stream
-
Stream seems to frozen now ...

Could it be the re-branded arena Essex team - Thurrock hammers? they've had the backing of their council to move forward I believe, although I'm happy to be corrected

Oxford vs Scunthorpe - Champ - 2/8

How did you work that one out! was always coming back to Oxford! -
Is it though? is it not a little bit to late? when the sport in this country needed him he turned his back on us for the big money (fair enough I guess) I think its very doubtful (though i would love to be wrong!) that there will be a premiership next year the way its going

Most of you arguing amongst yourselves are! The thread was for the challenge match most come to read thoughts or opinions of the line up/events during the meeting etc. think there’s actually 1/2 pages on topic the other 10 just the same old debate over tickets. Everyone is entitled to there opinion and there is neither a right or wrong opinion! Either start yourself a separate thread so you can debate it until the end of time or except that other’s opinions may differ from yours because coming on here each time moaning about it isn’t gonna change a thing. -

Oops records stuck again! Actually worked to our advantage last year a meeting was cancelled so we were all automatically refunded and able to use that ticket to go to the rearranged fixture free of charge Looking forward to it, Side does look strong, However be a good warm up for Oxford win or lose. -
Championship Pairs, Oxford.. Friday, 12th. August
mel replied to Ovalman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
hi, You can take your own i do every week, the start straight terrace you would be fine with a stool unless by the wall but I would say the 3rd/4th bend would be much better for a deck chair as the steps are much wider enjoy :) -
Oxford vs Birmingham 19/7/22 (CJL
mel replied to Fozzie4388's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Would say that the heat was a factor however Oxford united were also playing last night and many supporters also attend the football i know a lot of people undecided over which they would attend -
I did say the same at the time I thought the Stoneman incident on bend one seemed like first bend bunching should have been all riders back
-
I personally am just happy to have a local team and have enjoyed both the meetings so far win or lose as have new people I have brought with me that have never seen speedway before I think we all knew we would be up against it this year as did we also know that Poole would be a tough ask home and away so for me that home result was not only a big learning curve for some but also the track staff (yes I agree it was extremely dusty), so all in all even with a loss I was happy with the result

well done chris look forward to you riding back at oxford this season
