Belle Vue v Poole Monday 1/7/19 BT Sports
scottyfan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Or maybe not....Maybe it’ll be level on points with 3 matches in hand -
The Chris Harris collection was not organised by Matt Ford or Poole Speedway, it was done by a supporter off their own back.

Poole vs BV. Premiership. 27/06/19
scottyfan replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Have to say it again.....Wrong!!...There was a need to carry on as it was the second match in a double header with Eastbourne, which the Pirates won 50 - 43, To draw level with Belle Vue on points at the bottom of the table. A win against the Witches would put Belle Vue into the relegation/promotion play off against Edinburgh.....as it happened Poole narrowly finished above Belle Vue on race points and Belle Vue went on to win the relegation/promotion play off. So there was certainly something riding on the result and a Poole win!! -

The reason it’s nearly 10 years ago is because that is the last time, until Thursday of this week, that I recall Poole calling off a meeting due to a curfew. -

Just to use this match as a reference as you said the last decade or so Poole have called meetings off to suit them... Poole v Ipswich September 10th 2009:- Poole 35 - Ipswich 37 .... Meeting abandoned after 12 heats due to 10pm curfew. -

Current league table looks good (early days yet I know). Robins look the strongest team, as they are currently holding everyone else up at the bottom..... -

So who will Nico Covatti be riding for next week Somerset or Poole? If it’s Somerset and Poole need a guest, I hear Craig Cook is available
-
Press and Practice day is Thursday April 4th....The day after they ride at Somerset April 3rd.
-
1st meeting is in 10 days at Somerset on 3rd April, so not quite 2 weeks.

Looks more like Doyle’s replacement to me.....
