Good afternoon gents, decent racing so far, shame Leszno looking a bit empty. Surprised as it's a pretty strong field & the weather lovely too.

Of the current riders I'd pick Woffinden, Hancock & Ward. In any sport you get guys who always seem to have time, make the difficult look easy, they see the bigger picture. Crumpy & Rickardsson in recent times definitely had that same gift too.

It's been a decent match so far, you've not missed an epic but there's been some good close racing. Karpov in great form today, young Aitner-Gollob's been a lively reserve for Ostrow.

Excellent heat 2 effort from Gollob jnr, looked smooth - after following his dad's career it makes me feel a bit old though!!

The Gorzow GP's only a month or so away, surely Kasprzak will show some form there?? I'm no massive fan of KK, but can't help feeling sad for a guy who in full flight is seriously quick & in my opinion good to watch. However at the moment he looks totally out of his depth & completely lost. Hope he finds the form that took him to world no.2 soon.

I'm enjoying Tony Bennett too - very "high brow" filler choice by Canal +, bit random too! Looking forward to the action, hope Malilla makes up for one or two pretty non-descript recent GP's.

Wouldn't be too hard on your team if I was a Stars fan tonight. Heat 1 aside, The Aces from 1-7 were good. Scott Nicholls was back to his best & Josh G solid in the middle order. Thing with this Aces side, they could push you close at Saddlebow Road, or just as easily get stuffed by 12-14pts! No lack of effort from the Stars, Porsing looked lively before pulling the locker that (effectively) ended his match, hope he's well soon. NK Iversen was a threat all night, all effort ending in a fall in heat 15. If the Aces ride like they did tonight, they'll give Swindon plenty to think about in what could be a playoff decider at Kirky Lane in mid-August. Just gotta make sure there's no home slip-ups in the meantime..

Brilliant speedway in the Final, shame I only just got back from Cardiff & missed the rest of the meeting!! Hope for you guys the rest of the meeting was as good. Congrats Maciej Janowski too.

Just seen news on Twitter, great to see. Suspect an Aces stand might be present at Cardiff on the weekend, should shift a few more tickets for March 2016 - bring it on!
