Surprised that some (not all) Bees fans were concerned at the choice of Max Fricke as a guest tonight. I'm pretty sure Cov used him last year as a guest more than once & he did well for them - someone will check the Updates site & prove me right/wrong. Weren't there rumours too in the winter that Bees were interested in signing him before he ended up in Manchester? Credit to all 14 riders for doing their best to put on a show tonight in real tricky conditions.

Couldn't agree more Alan. Went to the Aces/Wolves match last night, was a really strange hollow feeling after the events of recent days. Feels similar looking on here for a stream for tonight's match, all a bit half-hearted at best. Of course I echo your sentiments about Darcy too.

Hope that Grudziadz's relegation doesn't come at too much of a financial hit to them, & they don't suffer like Gdansk & Bydgoszcz have in recent seasons. After all, I'm guessing the likes of Tomasz Gollob & Artem Laguta don't come cheap!

Think Lakeside were happy with Max Fricke's effort's tonight. A match that Poole were always going to win by the way. If the Aces don't make the playoffs, it's the lack of points from the early season away matches that has cost us - not the last couple of weeks of the regular season. There for all to see. Our playoff hopes still not over, but looking slim now.

That's fair comment, especially with Kildemand missing. Impressed by young Rempala, he's done a really good job so far.
