  3. I thought the racing wasn't great at Riga last night and the stadium was not even full, even though the capacity there is not much. The racing wasn't great either. Worrying times for the SGP. The final result was good though and thanks to Brady Kurtz the world championship is still open with two rounds at Wroclaw and Vojens still to come.
  4. That was a rather emotionless meeting at Czestochowa, in fact quite boring, in what used to be one of the hot spots of the Ekstraliga. The Ekstraliga this season fails to excite me, and I notice that crowds in the Polish stadia are significantly down this year. I've said it before and I say it again, the total dominance of Motor Lublin, and to a lesser extend Torun and Wroclaw, is doing the league no good.
  5. Maybe so, but all of the Aussies and most of the Brits are based in the UK, which would make it fairly easy to run a test series in the summer. Where there's a will, there's always a way!
  6. I don't agree that this would be totally one-sided. It coud even be quite a spectacle and a highlight of the UK season! Anyway, it is such a shame we don't get to see a proper GB v Aussie speedway test series. The wait continues.
  7. Landshut v Gdansk on Sunday has been postponed due to bad weather. The new date for this match is Sunday, August 10 (5pm local time)
  8. I tend to not watch Motor Lublin meetings anymore. They are so strong it is totally boring! How can the Lublin fans enjoy watching this?
  9. This was a very good race meeting on Saturday. I am more and more impressed with the Flat Trackers. I wonder, could this be the future for speedway/track racing? You can watch Saturday's complete meeting in Croatia re-live with English commentary on YouTube. It was live and free on YouTube on Saturday night.
  10. Well, seriously,I had a look at her facebook page but it does not mention any racing acitivites of her lately. I wonder is she still active as a speedway rider, and if so, why is she not riding in Croatia? https://www.facebook.com/p/Katie-Gordon-Racing-100057876480625/
  11. Does anybody know why Rachel Hellowell is the only British entry in the 500cc FIM Womens Speedway gold Trophy on Saturday in Croatia? Where is Katie Gordon ???
  12. Croatian Motorsports Federation (racing license). I wonder, are women not allowed to ride speedway in Poland?
  13. But is it any wonder? It must get rather boring for the Lublin fans having to watch runaway wins in their home meetings. This team is way too strong and this is not good for the Ekstraliga, really.
  14. Wow, now that's a surprise. Sad to see USA pull out, but on the other hand its nice to welcome Argentina as brand new nation in the SoN.
  15. https://classicspeedwaymemories.webador.co.uk/june-2025/the-last-rider-promoter I like the Trevor Redmond story thanks @Bairao
  16. it had rained earlier today and the track was not covered. now the riders say its unsafe
  17. no, that Villads Pedersen is not Nicki's nephew Bastian Pedersen is his nephew
  18. Is ist just the 20 heats, without a final in this SGP3 Championship today?
  19. What are they doing? Set the track, which was good, under water?
