Bjarne is a good signing for Poole and does strengthen us slightly, lets face it he is easily going to score more than Davey! He knows all the tracks big and small so should be solid, maybe if It was me I would have tried Shamek again but more than happy with Bjarne. This also proves all the other Pirates should be watching their back as Matt isn't scared to make changes if required, something other clubs seem to be very slow at doing.

Welcome back Bjarne.

Davey can't keep 'wanting' to ride and continue to score so badly, if he cares about the club as much as he goes on about he would stand down until his head is sorted. All I ever hear from Davey is excuses as to why things are going wrong, people generally in life have problems going on behind the scenes but have to raise the game and get on with it! When people ride for my home town club all I want to see is 100% effort in every race and I have not seen that so far from Davey this year, you look at Hans and although at times he crosses the line with some hard riding and moves at least he is in the mix pushing people about. -

Bye bye Davey! What an awful performance again. Poole should have won this and taken all 4 points all other riders performed to their average we only need Davey to put a bit of effort in. -

He should do the right thing and step down from the team until he gets his head sorted, he is being unfair to himself and the club. -

Looking forward to tonight, should be a cracker! apart from a small amount of light rain due around Mid-day there is nothing more planned before the meeting. They may want to get on with it tonight for 2 reasons there is potential rain due for 10pm and the MOST IMPORTANT the A31 will be closed east bound from Ringwood through to Cadnam J1 of the M27. This will effect me heading home and any Lakeside fans heading home potentially. -

Fantastic news to hear, I shall be coming to a few meetings in the next few months and can't wait. My only concern would be all this money raised are the original people still involved? the ones who informed the BSPA they wont be running as they should be moved on, clearly cant run a balanced business! -
Periscope. A Promoters Nightmare App.
Pirates Of Poole replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I agree 100% they should make more 'highlights' available after meetings but cant see how they will really stop this from happening because they wont offer another option. The Piratecast boys show the odd heat which is great if you are unable to attend the meeting. I think this has more to do with the fact the promoters are concerned it will make people stay at home and watch the meeting on their device instead of paying to go into the stadium. -

The weather forcast is for the overnight rain to clear by 4am and leave a dry sunny day, should be perfect for racing with the a bit of natural rain. Looking forward to a big Poole win -

Pirates Of Poole replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Have to say it was a cracking meeting. 6 of the lads showed fire in their belly and really wanted the win, Davey looked like he would have rather been sat at home on the sofa with a beer in his hand, he was awful! Very impressed with Hans although that move in heat 15 was very harsh and also the earlier move on Bomber, but good to see riders putting it about and having a good go, not shutting off when someone gets near. Looking forward to next Friday when we smash the Robins -

Fantastic move by the club, looking forward to a great meeting next Wednesday.
-
strange one! his price is only going to increase, all the hype from Matt is the press any other team could come in and buy his contract.
-
Yep always Matt's fault His fault EL clubs are now looking at squads too.
-
Thinks it will be 2 Danes, 1 on a temp basis.

So the BSPA have approved the plan - nice announcement!
