Well done to Berwick, fought hard and came away with only 4 points to claw back makes the leg on the edge and I can’t call it. Think Berwick could nick a 6-8 point win and if they go through well deserved. We missed Lawson tonight, Bomber wasn’t great and threw some silly points away. Bowes needs to go, he is costing his team mates and club heavily now, he isn’t fit and certainly isn’t race fit. Now is the time while still on a 5 to get a new rider in. Matt and Danny seem to think he will turn it around, I haven’t seen anything this year to back up that thought, he looks unstable on a bike and has since the first meeting, keep him and it will cost us trophy’s. We have been spoilt in reserve so far, but once he drops there in July and scores 2 or 3 that will cost us meetings. He isn’t fit and we are going to slip up sooner rather than later and that came to fruition tonight. Look at some of the riders at Workington Saturday or see if Bailey will come over from July.

Think there maybe a few promoters looking at this fixture and seeing how the new riders to the UK perform if changes are required.

Redcar V Poole Friday 15th May

Just a wrist strain, he should be back by Wednesday at Poole. His hand has swollen badly and with a bit of grip may struggle to hold on, putting him and other riders at risk so best to rest for a few days and come back stronger. -

Well done to Oxford, they wanted it more than majority of our boys. Track was set up for rain, slick and not ideal for racing but that’s the way it went. Two poor away meetings now and we need to see an improvement from a couple of the boys in the main part of the team. Coops should have had more than 4 rides, why we kept Newman and Bowes in their 4th ride is beyond me. It’s all good and well scoring well at home but we need them to show up away. -
That serious. So will Oxford start the campaign
