Think there will be a few more missing out sadly. There is only 1 EL club that has had its visa application returned but more should come through in the next week. Once that is cleared the riders can then re-apply for their visa. -

It has probably be mentioned on here about Arthur, how is he a 5.00 when Allen and Holder are starting on a 7.00? -

Wonder where Jack will turn up to now. -
Gives the team a completely different look.
-
Difficult decision to make for Somerset, I feel Charles will be the one to loose out and will be replaced with a high 4 point rider.
-
What a fantastic line up put together! I presume Jack is on loan from Poole with Josh? And the deal includes Brady becoming a Poole asset?
-
Jack Holder will be at Somerset in 2015.
-
I would not have any concerns about those reserve, I would say they will be one of the strongest in the league, from what I have seen of Ellis he will hit the ground running, Luna may take a few meetings but will easily score a good amount of points from the start.

Does anyone have a full set for sale?

Darcy Ward
Pirates Of Poole replied to Seymour Dix's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
All I know is it isn't the 8th and Darcy has not heard when the date is yet still. I don't know the ins and outs of why its been delayed but 'theknow2' is likely correct. -

Not sure where the 8th came from but nothing official I have seen, no date has been set still. -

Its now the 4th of November and still no date has been set, there was a rumour of the 8th November which is incorrect. The FIM need to get there acts together on this. Regardless if his legal team have been putting excuses in, ignore and simply give him his punishment, his Polish, Swedish and British team can then move on with or with out him. -
Ah ok I see, so Matt was present at the recent Somerset v Edinburgh first leg final?
-
When did Matt say that? seems strange he would talk in public about Somerset riders for next season.
-
I guess Poole will want to use Perks then! This tie up between both clubs seems to be working for the coming season with some fantastic new riders coming to these shores.
-
Jack has signed for Scunthorpe, that is because the tie up between Scunthorpe and Poole. How about Josh back at Somerset?
-
Will Perks be able to utilise the Elite league reserve system?
-
I would assume Brady will be sold to Poole and loaned back for the season? Surprised to see Jack Holder go to Scunthorpe and not Somerset as thought that would of suited him.
-
Well the first they need to do is increase the 32 point limit as we are going to find more riders out of work. My reason is backed up more by the fact unlike previous years we only had 1 rider finish with a 4-5 average 4.66 for Lasse. The rest are all 5+. To weaken this now would another nail in the coffin, we have 2 less teams and 14 more riders to choose from.

Darcy is such a class act on a bike but as a business you have to look at the baggage he brings and trouble, Holder has a mature head on his shoulders and knows the difference between wrong and right. Personally I think Darcy is a better rider than Holder but you can't ignore the issues any more with Darcy. Saying I would not use him next year may be taken out of our hands anyway if he receives a 12 month ban and make the decision easier. My opinion on the league title is simple, since Darcy has acted in stupidity, this will hand the title to Swindon who are currently on a role, I know a lot can happen but that's how I see the current situation.
