Firstly well done to Belle Vue for such a great 2 meetings and if they didn't slip up at home early and lose points it would have been a different story. They never gave up and Cook is a real star rider now, he is pushing on to the next level. Congrats to Poole on their 3rd elite league title on the trot, finished top of the league and won the final but only just so deserved. The Poole boys had to dig deep to fend them off as Lemo had them fired up. The BV fans, management and riders are a credit.

We were simply beaten by the better team tonight! Some of our riders performances were well under par. And people saying about average dropping why would we do that? August averages are already set and changes can only be made until the 28th of August so winning or coming last won't make a difference to averages for changes.

Having read Tungates statement last night I thought a rider like him would never knock a rider off on purpose.....until I have just seen footage on YouTube. Rohan was not actually that near the second place rider like was made out when crossing the line, they actually make contact coming out of the second bend and if someone had done it accidentally surely you would return to the schene to make sure the rider is ok? I'm shocked at what I saw and never would have thought it of a very quiet Tubgate normally. He has let Ipswich speedway and himself down massively and deserves a heavy punishment regardless if they have history.

I would be worried about Stadia UK it worries me at Poole after what happened with them at Reading. Although speedway in the town has massive clout with the council and stadia uk have to go with it. Not sure how much support the council are giving the Robins?
