Whatever the rights and wrongs of who should be in charge you have hit the nail on the head and I have already said this in a previous post. This may have been a great experience and something to build on but HOW AND WHEN? The press reports and quotes from BSPA and Team GB Management will focus on the youth and how we are building for the future but unless any one has the balls to be pro-active then this 'team' will only meet again in 11 month time! - they wont be youthful then!!!! In these pess reports DONT tell us what we nearly did but DO tell us what the plans are to make sure this new look GB team will have the opportunity to move forward and do something amazing for 2010! Because that is now what we will be expecting.

This was the one downside for me this evening - Robs attitude to the mix up. If an opportunity had arisen to get a re-run when we rearly needed it I would have been a little more assertive. Find out the facts QUICKLY and then work on the solution Dont just stand back and see what happens.

If I remember correctly Scott was named as Captain when the squad was announced. So maybe its now up to Scott to show his true British Colours. He doesnt need to ride to captain the team, just be there and support the boys and Rob. I really hope he is there with the squad along with all he other riders named!!!! Everyone has written us off before we even turn up - I just hope the team are reading this - it may just spur them on!!!

Normally it is lovely. But they did have a major fault and were waiting on a 'part'!! I know Alan (duty manager) was saying that if it wasnt fixed early in the week he feared major cancellations. But they have ayear to sort it or at least to tell us to bring some fans!!!!!!
