Now I would say - join those queues and mix it up with the Poles. Yes you have to work hard to get your seats as those that get in early tape of huge sections for their mates. But the atmosphere is brilliant. But it does require stamina!!! Sometimes I do think going the luxury route is a good idea. Where are you staying Bradford Ace??

Road Trip 2 - Bydgoszcz To Zielona Góra
Sandie replied to Rico's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Now for the full SP from the trenches score keeper!!! Superbly organised. E-mails keeping us informed of any news as and when needed. Arrived on the day and the coach turned up. we all hopped on and the journey began. The downside for us last year was that we didnt buy tickets for the meeting before hand. No fault of Rico - that was 100% our error. We wont make that mistake his year or sure. So after a good meeting watched through a three inch gap we returned to our waiting coach, quick departure away and a non eventful journey home. oh I should have mentioned - A certain member that need the coach to pull over after about 10 minutes maximum to look at his breakfast again The organising party and their game of a vodka shot every hour on the hour! The swindon fans that thought they could sing at the back of the bus (but we got our revenge a few weeks later!!!!) Brilliant tour - and worth returning for. -

Which UK tracks have full FIM status for running meetings? I know that a few seasons ago Coventry had to make changes to bend 2 to bring it up to FIM stadard before they were given the World Cup meeting last year. -

Outbound to Bydgoszcz 6pm departure Return to BHX - 21:35 departure So fly out on Friday 12th and Return Monday 15th = £48.45 So long as you dont mind arriving in Poland around 9pm and back in Blighty at 11pm - sounds good to me

Birmingham Becomes Ryanair's 25th Base $700M INVESTMENT TO DELIVER 5M PAX P.A. AND 5,000 JOBS Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline today (Tuesday, 15th January 2008) announced its 25th European base in Birmingham with an initial two Boeing 737-800 aircraft ($140m investment) which will deliver 20 new routes from Birmingham to Denmark (1), France (5), Italy (5), Norway (1), Poland (3), Portugal (1), Slovakia (1), Spain (2) and Sweden (1). This will be followed by a further 8 Boeing 737-800 aircraft ($560m investment) which will deliver 5 million passengers annually, a visitor spend of £400m p.a. and sustain 5,000 jobs in the West Midlands. Ryanair’s new base will smash this high fare stranglehold by delivering savings of £130m next year for Birmingham’s passengers / visitors. “Direct international routes are fundamental to the economic development of a city like Birmingham and the people of the West Midlands can now look forward to Europe’s guaranteed lowest fares and best punctuality on 22 international routes with Ryanair. This route count will more than double as a result of Ryanair’s $700m investment in Birmingham, bringing with it a significant increase in European visitors and jobs for the West Midlands “To celebrate the launch of our new base, we are offering all passengers who buy a return flight on any route from Birmingham (before midnight on Thursday) a free bonus flight, (no taxes, no fees and no charges*) for travel in February to Dublin or Shannon from Birmingham. This special offer must end midnight Thursday so we advise passengers to book their bargain seats today on www.ryanair.com”. *See www.ryanair.com for details Still trying to get more information on this. Even Daddyfairy didnt know to much about it. I have already booked from Stansted but may be worth considering cancelling, taking the cancel fee and re-booking from Birmingham IF the deals are good.
