Already used the Nicky World Champ thread to say my bit on him so this post is to say; Well done to Scott Nicholls tonight. Beaten only by the world Champion must count for something. One place higher on the 13th october and a few quid richer - how cool would that be. Poor old Chris seems to be tailing off. Im sure he has secured his place for next year but it would be good to see him come good on the 13th as well.

He looked really down tonight and obviously thinking of his family and how they get affected by the whole lifestyle

TT sorry to hear that. He didnt appear to be showing it on the night but obviously able to hide it well. Shame his season is over but better to miss a few meetings than break it at the beginning of the season. Better still - not to have broken it at all!!

Thats true but only if you dont pay off your credit card each month. Its a long time between now and next June and if you dont pay it off then you are just compunding the interest so not such a good deal. At the end of the day - if your happy with the booking thats all that matters. We have stayed There before and apart from being rather noisy if you get one of the rooms at the front or above Walkabout, it does its job. And its as close to the action as your gonna get!!

Trouble with Travel Lodge now is they debit your account straight away. You can cancel and get a refund but I'd rather not let any money change hands till closer to the day and / or its confirmed!

A very interesting selection of tunes - some actually sung very well .......Meeting lots new forum members and putting faces to names.
