Anyone who expects that Coventry v Poole handicap bet to be settled is off their mind. No one can predict the score of heat 15, if it was a 5-1 or 5-0 to Cov all you Poole backers lose, but it never happened so nobody will ever know. Official results can be declared after 10 heats now so how the hell can a handicap be settled as it's unlikey to be established by then?! We all have to expect all 15 heats to be completed to be paid unless it has been established at the point of the official result being declared. This is the fairest way on both sides.

They still have to be selected by the governing body, so represent GB not themsleves.

Just to correct the above post on 1 point. GB do not just enter 1 event, you have to include individuals competing in the GP's, entering the GP qualifiers and also competing in the World U21 qualifiers. it's not all about team competition.

It's a minority sport and a very small one at that in the UK so we should be grateful that we have a range of bookies to use who actually price it up. If you win regularly they are not going to tolerate you forever at the same stakes so move on to the next company. I do agree that BWIN are a mess and their offers are an insult so it's best to stear well clear of them. In an ideal world we would get what we want when we want but that's not gonna happen.
